  4. Posted by the Old School Dune Buggies page on FB. November 1973 – Womens ATC Competition, Dune Masters and Sand Piper Buggy Clubs, Dumont Dunes. The green ATCs belonged to the Dune Masters which matched their club jackets and logo while the Sand Pipers rode the blue ATC, again matching their club color. From left to right… Yvonne Clements (Sullivan), Carla Schedler (Floyd) Cindy LeFever (sister on back?), Pat Sanford (face turned), Sandy Harland (in back, getting on her ATC), Liz Miles, Jeannie Clements, Avis Marin (out front, blue ATC), Mickey Miles, Denise Spiro, and Judy Sellars. 7. I'm not sure who it is who hosts the event, but it's pretty cool to see another group also do a buggy roundup. It's the 5th Annual Silver Lake Long Travel Sand Car Roundup in MIchigan. It looks pretty big. I bet we could eventually get that many buggies at our roundups at Dumont. Speaking of, we should set a date soon for next season. I'm thinking mid December again. http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/article/20140724/MICHIGANDER04/307240007/Dune-buggies-from-around-U-S-flock-Silver-Lake-State-Park?nclick_check=1

  11. Joined! Hope I can help. I will be following your progress and wish you the best, Mike. Our buddy Chris (Grimace) broke his back at Dumont back in 09 and has been dealing with a spinal injury as well. It's crazy how quickly things can happen yet affect the rest of your life.
  12. Nice pics, Steve. I wonder how long that construction is going to be like that through the Gorge?
  13. Works great. $15 Located in Henderson
  14. In honor of America's birthday, let's see your american flag pics, preferable taken at the dunes. I know there's some good ones out there in this group. Happy 4th of July everyone. Stay safe this weekend but make sure you blow some stuff up and have a good time in the meantime!
  15. No need to submit a pic or vote. It's already a done deal. What better photo than this one for our July Dune Pic of the Month! Bert requested that Jodi (sand chick) submit this photo that she took of him. There's no question that this is the one for July. As Bert stated, it represents the 4th of July and America. I couldn't agree more. Bert was a very patriotic guy and flew the American flag with great pride. So to honor Bert's wishes, we will proudly display this photo as our July DPOM on the homepage.
  16. Andy you could just drive up to Boulder City and watch the show at Veterans Memorial Park. They put on an amazing show every year.
