All the aftermarket carbs I've bough through them have had zero issues. I'd just pull it apart again and make sure every circuit and both jets are clear and clean.

Yep agreed. Villopoto seems to be making alot of mistakes and no longer gets that comfort zone lead that he used to. He's getting quite a bit of pressure from guys that are riding just as good and smart too. I was happy to see Bubba didn't crack when the pressure was put on him. It was Villopoto that went down when they finally got into the turn together. Roczen is definitely an up and coming rider. Up there with the big boys already!

Crazy race last night! Chad Reed came outta nowhere! That was awesome. And Stewart didn't even crash. My picks were way off.

Are you sure you got that pilot jet cleaned out? That orifice is so small you can barely see sunlight through it when it's clear. You have to use a fine strand of wire and poke at it real good. Compressed air, carb spray...none of those work. The factory carbs are just as simple as an aftermarket to tune. Carbs are cheap though if you don't feel like messing with it.

Probably a 10. I think that's what @ ran on his CR500 and it worked very well.

Of course. Cars, side x sides, whatever. But the whole point of the trip would be to get a bunch of riders together. Either way- it's another DDR group trip for some good times. That would be Feb 8-9 I think. Should work for me. Gotta check a couple things first.

Seeing as though my buggy might not make it back out this season, (maybe it will, who knows at this point) I plan on doing a couple of quad-only, simple trips before the end of the season is over. Any other riders interested in getting together like we did for the buggy roundup? It would be fun to hook up with a bunch of other riders, do a group camp and run the dunes all weekend on the bikes. Let me know if you're in and then we can start to figure out a date. I'm thinking sometime in Feb.

Same thing happened to me with one of mine. They couldn't identify the date so they said no way. New tanks are about $90 each from Johnny Walker RV. The gas station/ propane guy said you can exchange them. My question is where.

The Dakar has claimed a Honda rider in stage 5 as well as 2 journalists that plunged off a cliff following the race. From RDC... Tragic news from Stage 5 of ‪‎Dakar2014‬. Earlier this morning, Belgium bike competitor Eric Palante was found dead at km143 along the fifth stage of the rally. The 50-year-old motorcycle rider was competing in his 11th Dakar. As of now, the organizers have said that the cause of his death is under investigation.
