  1. Just called them and they don't stock any but might be able to order them from Gear One. I'm thinking Gear One might be closed for holidays. If I can't get a hold of them, they won't be able to either.
  2. I have a set of the Gear One 930 Super Micro Stubs on my car that are spanked. I'd like to upgrade to their chromoly ones but I'm having no luck finding anyone that carries them at all. I tried Butch's & NV Offroad buggy with no luck. Kartek doesn't carry any of their stuff either. I tried calling Gear One and they didn't even answer their phone. I left a message. Any suggestions? I'm willing to pay for overnight shipping from wherever so I have my car for this weekend.
  3. Luckily it's leaking at the front tank around the 3/4 level so I can get away with still using it in the meantime. After this trip I will have to bring it in for a new tank though.
  4. Oh no! So sorry to hear. My thoughts are with you and your family, Phil.
  5. hahaa it's an optional thing. You don't HAVE to use it. It's pretty easy though.
  6. Now you will be able to tag other members in your post and they will get a notification that you mentioned their name. (just like Instagram & Facebook). Your notifications are set by to default to notify you by inline notification (little blip at the top of the screen AND by email). To adjust your settings, just go to notification setting in your profile. To tag a member, just type @ and their screen name with no space like this. @ @@ynot @@vegas style etc For now, you will have to know exactly how to spell the member's name, but in one of the next forum update releases, there will be a popup for name suggestions as you type.
  7. Well I got the car all torn apart last minute to replace the hub bearings for maintenance since they were getting a bit sloppy and I found what I expected to find- the hubs are spanked. I am hoping Gear One can overnight me a set or NV Offroad or Butches has a set in town. We're still going regardless. Worse case scenario I'll be on the quad and Anna will bum a seat in a friend's car. I'll bring the damn KTM if I have to. Too many friends are making this trip and we've been planning on it for a while so we're in regardless!
  8. I would need you to show me on the map what area you're talking about. I know the majority of the north end is fenced off because of the lizard issue years ago. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  9. I'll check with Johnnie Walkers. If they don't sell or recommend anything, they'll be the ones installing a new tank. I don't feel like messing with it.
  10. That seems to be the consensus. Time to shell out even more hundreds of dollars! This sh*t is getting old.
  11. Oh perfect site to go to for Dumont info. lol I already have it mapped out too. I'll try posting a map later. It's an Internet Explorer issue with the editor on the forum. Use Google Chrome instead. There's a topic about it in the help section.
  12. No because there is a fence out there now and that area is off limits. You would have to go down past the entrance and cross the river or enter into the sperry wash from the camp area if a trail allowed. The Sperry Wash is the trail head you see off to the left just before you cross the river at the concrete pad. It's labeled the Amargosa River on the map.
  13. I've looked into many routes to get to Dumont on my dual sport bike. I haven't done it yet, but it looks like the best route would be the powerline road from Primm to Excelsior Mine Rd to Smith Talc Rd and then shoot down the Sperry Wash route. )Reverse that for D to Primm of course) Not sure how legal it would be in you are not plated, but it's not really patrolled.
  14. Post up a photo. Please read the rules before posting. Otherwise you will be banned. ok, not really but that would be pretty funny. The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. You may also post a caption or description included with the pic. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. The picture must abide by the terms and conditions (rules) of this board. 5. Post only ONE picture per contest
  15. I know it's been talked about before on here. What have you guys used to repair leaks in water tanks? I have a hole that has worn into the tank from the support brace that keeps it from shifting around. Not very happy right now!
  16. All the GoPro mount posts have been moved to a new thread in general chat. As for New years- we have a thread for that topic too. trying to stay on topic here- Buggy Roundup trip reports. Any other pics? Do you guys think we should do another one before the end of the season? I thought it was pretty fun. Just don't want it to get TOO big ya know. It was a nice size group.
  17. It'll be a freaking miracle if I can get all my crap ready in time but I'm gonna give it my all and we still plan on going Thurs night through Sunday. We'll be celebrating New Years in town.

  19. I fixed it. You had the HTML box checked and it threw it off. All you need now is the You Tube link and it will automatically embed it in your post. As for the copy/ paste thing, since Internet Explorer's last update, there are now some incompatibilities with the forum software. I am working on fixing it but need some time in front of the computer which I don't really have right now. It's nothing you are doing wrong. There's a thread about this in the help section.
  20. Those are awesome, Adam. I love GoPro screengrabs! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  21. Couple screen grabs from my Go Pro. It caught Lou getting some air and a decent shot of most of the train.
  22. JD! Welcome to the site and it was nice meeting you and bs'ing around the fire.
