  1. There was one hooked up when I left the ignition on. haha The red light said error. Imma dumbass. Nice! If I need one I'll be hitting up Dale first.
  2. Not much really, just a list of stupid little stuff. It's my toyhauler that keeps setting me back more than anything. On a good note, the ATC70 is ready for just about anything with a fresh new battery, oil change, carb & fuel system cleaning, and I even wiped off the fenders!
  3. Thanks Terry. I can't go with any other size because the hold down and tray in my car is built exactly for the PC 925. It's looking like it might be taking a charge now. I'll check it in the morning and see if it needs to be replaced or not.
  4. Looks like mine has finally crapped out. Does anyone know if Butches, Fig Speed or NV Offroad buggy carry a PC 925?
  5. Sweet! I'm currently posting from my garage working on mine. It's getting expensive! My battery was getting a little weak and I think I officially killed it last night when I left the ignition on! Crap. That's an additional $200 I didn't want to spend on this trip. Awesome. Would be great to have you come out, Pat. We'll go on at least one old guy run together. haha You should stay the whole weekend though.
  6. You guys are building me up way too much! I appreciate the compliments but there are plenty of other guys on this board that are just as fast of drivers. There are many times I never push it that hard. Crazy fast runs are pretty rare. Conditions have to be just right and I have to be feeling it otherwise I would break my sh*t alot more often not to mention it would be unsafe.
  7. Sweet! Congrats. See you next weekend. Don't wish that on me because my car was actually acting up last weekend!
  8. Sounds like a personal problem. What did you break?
  9. That's the regatta spot. We decided to park where the cleanup is always held.
  10. No, they are always very good about keeping the place clean. They have to. They're basically responsible since their name is on the permit. The BLM checks over the event area and does post-event checkup. They wouldn't continue to get approved for events if they trashed it.
  11. Just a heads up to let everyone know where we all plan to park and camp together: C6 on the grid map.
  12. Every weekend there is a race course out there. You just can't see the cones that I do.
  13. It's an FSA organized drag race for quads at Banshee Hill.
  14. With the freezing temps upon us, don't forget to drain your lines in your rv/ haulers. I opened all the faucets and just drained my tanks. I worried the PVC pipe connecting the fresh tanks (at the drain) would crack. Better safe than have to add MORE crap to my toyhauller repair list.
  15. It really depends on your experience. Yes, a Tech 3 will be a more capable car, but to tell you the truth I don't know if I would have become the driver I am today without going through that transition. I'm not trying to sound full of myself, but I did learn alot. If you jump right into a car that can make up alot for driver error, you can kill yourself very easily. You become overconfident right away and tend to rely too much on your equipment. I even had to learn to respect my new car after a few "oh sh*t moments". I thought I knew it all and could handle it all. If you have little to no sandcar driving experience, it will be literally YEARS before you outgrow the Busa. Who knows, you might not ever want or need more. They really are very capable cars. Don't let the "mini" name fool ya. Either way you go, you will be happy for many years to come. They are both awesome cars at a great price and you can sell or upgrade at any time. I doubt the market will drop much more.
  16. Nope, too much to do to get ready for the following weekend! I know badass24racing is racing in it!
  17. Right on, Randizz. It was an awesome weekend. There's so much more to the weekend than duning when all the right people are there. We were still short a handful of good peeps, but it was great to finally get back out with you guys. Last season didn't work out so well for our schedule withour remodel. I hope you guys can make it out for the buggy trip. PS, very glad to hear Mark decided to keep the car. I figured that was just some typical off season thoughts. One good run with the crew and I knew he'd have to reconsider.
  18. It doesn't really matter how many show up. The more the merrier but we'll have an epic trip regardless. All I know is the dunes will be ours that weekend and we plan to run all weekend. I can't wait!
  19. Yep they are tons of fun, but in the end I wanted more car. They can definitely hang. I even lead the rides most of the time, but like you said Terry it's about comfort and control. I was driving that car at it's limits and had to be on my toes when certain hard transitions or things came up. I had very little room for error with what the car could soak up. Driving that fast in the Busa actually took more skill than with a bigger car. I am glad I made the switch. The first time I test drove my car I was sold. I was amazed how much "more car" the Tech 3 was.
