  1. Go out next weekend. We'll all be out there and you can run with us. Plus it will be warmer...well a little.
  2. That one has been for sale for a while now. He posted it on here as well. Surprised it hasn't sold yet at that price. The only thing I've never liked about the Tom Pro cars are those dinky little wheel/ tires.
  3. Congratulations. Tell your buds to load those cars up so we can show them how we do it at Dumont.
  4. That car is badass! That is a really good price too. I'd be all over it if I were you. You can't beat it. I really like the wrap and would leave it alone. Looks sweet. It's a great color scheme. He did a nice job on that car. Good luck and hope to see you at the buggy roundup.
  5. Here ya go. First one is the 2009 for 29,900 Second is the 2007 for 21,500 Both badass cars and great prices. Post a pic of Brians demo car. I wonder if it's the same car i'm thinking of.
  6. Not as badass as the orange one, but also a smokin deal http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=293395
  7. That car is SICK. I thought it just sold recently? edit, looks like he just bought it from that guy that had it for sale. Jordan, buy that car!
  8. hahahaaa Thanks Terry. I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say he was being sarcastic. If not, I'd love to be taught how to dune! If I've been doing it wrong all these years, just imagine the possibilities. I would love to learn more! Oh and yes Jordan, had a turbo on it when I bought it.
  9. +1 on Berrymans. Why try other stuff when this stuff is tried and true? Works awesome.

  11. Agreed. In addiction to the "1st annual Buggy Roundup", it can be the official unofficial "5th annual atc70 regatta". I'll have mine out for sure that weekend. Maybe I'll even bring the projector this trip too. Who has a big stacker trailer we can use for the screen?
  12. After talking with a couple guys in our group last weekend looks like a couple might have to bail out but we should still have a good turnout for this. It's right around the corner and I'm stoked to get back out especially on an off weekend with no crowds. I have a few minor things to get ready on the car and she's ready for more.
  13. As already mentioned Tom Pro or King. I used to own a Short Sandcar and I kept breaking it. Not knocking Larry's work, I just feel my driving style was more aggressive than anyone else that has owned one because I broke things nobody else did. I busted many spindles, a rear hub carrier, and a few frames as a result of the spindle failures. I finally had him built a custom car to my specs: http://www.dumontduneriders.com/ssc_buildup.html and it did great! http://www.dumontduneriders.com/ssc-perf-review.html That last Busa SSC car was dialed in great and the only reason I ended up selling it was because I still wanted to step it up to the next level and that was a full size turbo Honda car. I saw the Tech 3 turbo Honda for sale and had to have it. It had better suspension, front brakes, reverse, better charging (an alternator), it was a bit safer and heavier to soak things up and it had alot more power. Busa cars are a blast to drive. It all boils down to your driving style. If I were to buy a Busa car again I think it would be a King. Brian (the owner) is a duner himself and those guys rail out there. I've seen them in the dunes and they drive pretty similar to our group.
  14. That's exactly what I thought and recommended he stock some. Can't believe more vendors don't carry them either.
  15. A couple things but I heard there was some unapproved/ non-permitted filming going on.
  16. I don't feel like typing a novel so I will just touch on some of the great parts of the weekend. It was great getting back out and running with the crew again. Weather was epic Broke a few things and had plenty of stupid small issues, but nothing that ruined the trip or stopped me from running or having fun killed another mason jar of Apple Pie. Damn that stuff is smooth although Whitney doesn't think so. JVZ (Jason) did a damn good job with his sandcar. He just upgraded to a Mendi trans and had to do ALOT of mods to make it work. He had zero issues all weekend. I'm thinking he should be a mechanic instead of a realtor, although that would be a bad move. haha The late night conversations never get dull around the fire. #dirtywordsaroundchadskid #sorry #notsorry #zerofucksgiven LOL! Jason was on a roll. Hilarious night. tore up dunes but thankful for long travel. The car handled it great. I'm doing a top to bottom bolt check though! Lindsay B is not only a great rider but kills it behind the wheel too. Good to see a couple legendary vertical Randog wheelies! GTP Offroad seemed to be a popular spot for duners. That's great to see. Holidays aren't my choice for dune weekends, but it's great running into friends everywhere you go. Nothing like pulling up to the north pole and having tons of friends from different groups out there to say hi to and chat with. Except barefoot bob. mafaka! He needs to get back out there. Overall it was a great weekend and best of all everyone I know got home safely. Time to get crackin on my list of stuff to roll back out on the 13th for the buggy roundup!
  17. Here's a few random pics. The rest are on my photography site. (link below the pics) JVZ's new paint job! Joe Duner sighting! lvnalolife and family TRACKED out dunes Vendor row Chillen on top of a dune. The rest are here... http://www.actionshutter.net/SandSports-1/Dumont-Dunes-Thanksgiving-2013/
  18. This person posted it up on our facebook page as well. The description was white with no case.
  19. BLM holiday pass dates are Dec 28-Jan 3rd. We're going out Dec 26-Dec 29. Kinda sucks we won't actually be there on NYE, but that's cool. It gives us a chance to celebrate in town.
  20. Right on. It's always good to see a dune run from a different view. I always have mine running but it doesn't get much when I'm leading which is almost every time. This trip I pointed it backwards and got some great stuff like when we flopped over comp.
  21. Sweet! Agreed. Awesome weekend, Nick.
  22. Cool no problem, Andy! Thank you.
  23. Less crowd than past years, but still a decent turnout. I think the only major accident that was reported was the one Wed night. The waterpumpers ran the hill climbs on Saturday. Weather was epic. Dunes were tore up real good but the car took them pretty well. Glad I left the bike at home. Vendor row was a good turnout I thought. I'll post up more later. I took some pics.
