Unless Steve gets there early, nobody is getting there early that is in our group. We will only have the 2 rigs (so far). We'll see. We may just avoid the cane beds road just in case. As for being packed, I'm not too worried about it. We'll find a spot and squeeze in somewhere. I just found the pic that Jodi posted from the Sat morning of last year's Memorial weekend and that was NOTHING like it used to be. If you think that was bad, you should have seen it back in 04/05. You couldn't even drive through from one end to another if you had a big rig. Last year, Sat AM 2006 I think that 4 miles has been paved for a while now. I might try to call.

Well here's why. Last time we took the cane beds road, it was literally in perfect condition. It didn't beat my trailer up at all like previous trips before that one. It cut a about an hour off our travel time. This trip we don't have the luxury of leaving early so it will be late Friday night. I'd like to get there before midnight if possible. If we rolled through Kanab that late in the evening, everything will be closed anyways.

Anyone been down it lately? How is it? I hate beating my stuff up or hitting those soft spots because my trailer likes to sink at the first sight of silt, but it is a huge shortcut going to Coral.

I don't think anyone thought it was just one position.

Let me know if you can make it. I'd say you could carpool up with us, but we're already full. Wish you could go too. Ryan said he might even be able to make it up. Can I borrow your fire tub/ring? Awesome. Make it happen Steve! It'll be nice to have you back, Jay! That means you'll be able to make it back to D more times throughout the season now. There's always other weekends. Maybe we can arrange to do a DDR group trip up to Coral another weekend.

After almost FIVE years, I'm finally making it back up there. Last time I was up there was Labor Day 08. We're heading up for Memorial Weekend. Not sure if I'm bringing my car yet. Depends on if anyone else in our group is bringing one. I may just keep it quads only this trip. I miss riding up there. Anyone else going or thinking about that weekend?

Unfortunately this position is not going to be possible for 99% of the people on here. Terry has done an amazing job over the years and hopefully the BLM will select him again to be part of the Dumont sub-group. I appreciate all he has done over the years.

Right on, guys! Sounds like the 16th it is. That works better for me anyways. I'll pencil that date in if everyone wants to make it that day. Looking forward to it.

Nice, Paul. Well it was a great night at the pub with our moms, family and friends. It's almost like Cheers at the that place now. Everyone there knows our names, including the band. haha They are like family now. Both our moms LOVED the band and had a great night. It put a smile on my face.

Happy mother's day to all the mom's out there. What are you doing for your mom today? Anna and I are both bringing our moms out for dinner and then to see one of our favorite bands perform at the local brewery.

Let's lean towards the 15th then. Works better for me. I think that weekend is wide open for me. Hopefully the rest of the OG summer duners can make it, plus maybe some newbs can join us.

Yeah I know. I figured go dune early in the morning, come home, power nap, then go tear it up. Just saying that day is a possibility for me if the 15th didn't work for others.

I'm leaning towards Sat, June 1st or 15th. I'm open to other days but I have a few things going on. What do you guys say? Calling all die-hards. Let's do it. Post up even if your not sure but interested. I'll be on my Raptor this trip for those who are wondering. I'm keeping it simple like most summer runs. Any and all machines are welcome though.
