  1. Bummer for sure! Just go play in the dry lake beds around Primm/ Jean. Just as much fun!
  2. Maybe he just installed a new floor pan and was testing it out?
  3. I just read this! This just in. The Center for Biological Diversity has discovered a new and very rare, endangered species of spider at Dumont Dunes. It's a called a Katipo spider. It is usually found in New Zealand so they are very concerned why one showed up at Dumont. Until they figure out if it originated here or if it was transported here, Dumont Dunes will be closed indefinitely. The BLM has already constructed a 30 foot perimeter fence around Dumont and all access is restricted. If anything changes, we will keep you posted asap! Until then, Nellis Dunes will have to be your next alternative for duning.
  4. Awesome! Day trips are the best. You get so much riding in. I'm jealous of your new Rappy. Great report, Jodi. Can't wait to see the pics.
  5. Nice. Is that a 5th wheel or tag, Eric? I'll have to check out the floor plan.
  6. We actually considered that model when we saw it back at the sand show many many years ago.
  7. So your saying I can't have what I already have but new? lol I am not asking for the world here. I just want something close to what I have now, except new. I'm even ok with downsizing a little. My current setup's ability is capable of carrying 3 quads, my sandcar and an atc every trip. That's not my plan. I'm ok with bringing the sandcar and a quad only. Yet, just about every toyhauler I find doesn't even hold my sandcar. Yep, something like that. Thank you Mark!!
  8. ok, this thread was to ask who still makes new toyhaulers. Any help in that department would be appreciated. Let's not turn this into a tag vs 5th wheel thread. I am already aware what the differences are.
  9. I already have the separate bedroom up front. I'm not against the 5th wheel setup, but most of them are so ridiculously heavy it just doesn't seem practical. Besides, I would be losing cargo space for another bike and stuff I load into my bed.
  10. I was kicking around the idea of getting a new hauler and so far it doesn't even look like a possibility with today's haulers. With my current setup, I have a front bedroom and~18 feet to the first cabinet (+ another 4-5 ft), plus a wide opening with no exposed wheel wells inside so I can get my car in. I would love to stay Forest River, but it seems everything they make is too small as far as cargo space. Attitude toyhaulers seem to have plenty of cargo, but only in a 5th wheel. I'm not against that but after spending a ton of cash on a new hitch & weight distribution setup plus I like my bed space, I would prefer a pull behind. What else is left? Most of them have gone under.
  11. hellllz yiah! Bout time.
  12. Good idea on the trickle charger. I always forget about that.
  13. Insurance usually won't cover accessories, depreciation and most importantly your time/ pain in the a$$ factor. My car is insured for probably more than the going rate in today's market, but it is pretty unique and I would hate to lose it and have to find a car of very similar specs/ design.
  14. Pine Valley, UT. There's a very nice campground and pond to fish from.
  15. It's safe for the most part, but you still hear about stuff disappearing from camp from time to time. Lock you stuff up!
  16. Right on Chris. Glad you got it figured out and it was something simple!
  17. That's awesome. Those are amazing quads. Congratulations. I wanted that bike but timing and priorities are not in line.
  18. What do you mean? If you mean just pump it in and let it sit then no, it doesn't. You need to at least get them spinning to properly coat the tire. It doesn't take much though. You could probably zip it down the street.
  19. Here's a little recap video of the cruise that Anna and I just went on. It was from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas with the band, 311, and many many more bands, performers, DJs and comedians. The weather sucked except for the last 2 days, but it was such an EPIC time. I wanna go back! I'll post some pics up soon.
  20. Thanks for your contribution old man!
  21. Not that the season is over yet, but there are some things to keep in mind when storing your car. Let's hear em. - First and foremost would have to be adding fuel stabilizer to the fuel and starting it up every couple weeks. - I always run Berryman's tire sealer so the tires don't lose air. What else do you guys do?
