  1. This weekend I will be racing in the Warrior Dash and I'm trying to raise funds for St Jude's. I am almost at my minimum goal of $250 and could use just a little more help. And of course if I raise more than the $250, that is awesome. If any of you could donate it would be extremely appreciated and goes towards a great cause which is helping kids with life threatening diseases. Just follow the link if you can help. Thank you!
  2. Its the same damn crap all over again. This is so stupid. So even IF this beetle was in such danger and we "save" it...then what??? How is it important? Why would anyone miss it? Survival of the fittest! Braaaaap on yo beetle! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  3. I'm using it, just not really for video. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  4. Did you apply oil to the clutch plates and disks?
  5. Many of you probably already heard, but yesterday Go Pro announced the new Hero 3 camera. Pretty damn sweet, but I still don't even make much use out of my Hero 2 in order to justify buying one. The trailer video is pretty badass. Check it out. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/A3PDXmYoF5U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  6. Hmm, weird. Mine must have been a different carb then. I know it was a 22mm though.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Man, I am jonzen to get back out soon.
  8. ha cool! I already did actually! lol
  9. A shop? Just throw a 98 main in there and call it good. That's what I have in my 110 and it's more than enough. 120 should require any more. What's the problem with how it's running?
  10. Oh that's just wrong! We're not all scumbags!
  11. Great post, Eddy! I loved it. hahahaaa you said "chrome wheels had a shine so deep that I think I saw mermaids swimming in them"
  12. I've never had any issues with it and I have been running it for over a year and a half. Is it just the 111 that causes problems? because I ran the 100. Maybe there's a difference. Hopefully I don't have the same issue one of these days but so far so good.
  13. I would count on Cooks Ice being there for Halloween.
  14. I'm just relaying exactly what Larry told me. AB 1266 reads that EXISTING law requires both feet to be flat on the floor. This bill is amending that part and will go into effect in July. http://leginfo.ca.gov/pub/11-12/bill/asm/ab_1251-1300/ab_1266_bill_20120823_amended_sen_v98.html
  15. This isn't much news, but it is a very simplified update for those wondering what exactly is different for the upcoming season with the new law, confusing bills, etc. I spoke directly to Larry Blaine of the Barstow BLM the other day and asked about the upcoming season. This is where we're at with the new rules at Dumont... Nothing will be changed or added to new side x side regulations until the end of this year. As of January 1, 2013, all side x sides (1000cc or less) will require all occupants to wear a helmet. It won't be until probably JULY when we see a change or addition to the current laws regarding... passengers' feet must be flat on the floor seats cannot be modified or added differently from the manufacturers design [*]This new law is only for side x sides (1000cc or less vehicles). This does not affect Jeeps or sandrails. Larry said the BLM will be doing plenty of education regarding the new rules. I don't expect them to be super strict about enforcing this brand new law until everyone is very aware what the new requirements are. Our BLM at Dumont are MUCH more reasonable than the Glamis guys. Hope this helps some.
  16. Thank you, Matt! Means alot. I'm really looking forward to the informal trip where we have more time to have some old skool fun, just how it started. I'll have ALOT more time to hang out with everyone too. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  17. FYB! Where's the pics of the trailer? lol Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  18. I don't understand how people can even discriminate against certain dunes. Yes, some areas might be better than others but each place is fun as hell. Just the fact that they are OPEN riding areas for us to shred some sand is amazing these days. I love all dunes! No amenities and patrols... Adam, wtf! You are sounding very high maintenance. haha
