  1. I think he was referring to Dumont BLM, not those Glamis d*cks. I have never been harassed at Dumont unless I was already being cited for doing something wrong.
  2. Same here. I prefer a little larger bike. Raptor
  3. need some more submissions. C'mon guys!
  4. That place is really cool. We did a trip up there on the DS bikes a while back. I bet is was a nice and peaceful trip. Great photos!
  5. Post up a pic now. (only one) The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. You may also post a caption or description included with the pic. Please limit posts in this thread to pictures only until voting has begun. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. The picture must abide by the terms and conditions (rules) of this board. 5. Post only ONE picture per contest
  6. You're not a wuss. Aaron is! Lol I wouldn't risk it either dude. All these years you have been very lucky especially as hard as we've ridden.
  7. As posted on our FB page today, Dumont was featured again in Sand Sports Magazine. Pick up the latest (July/ August) issue and flip to page 40 where you'll find an excellent article and photos on The Four Stroke Wars at Dumont Dunes by Neal Rideout. Neal (FE135 here on DDR) has become quite the contributor to Sand Sports Mag. The "Gold Thunder" article on page 38 is his too! Great job keeping the dune media scene alive! Great job Neal!
  8. Mike did! We went out on a ride Sunday with it already. Call it a nice long 100 mile "test ride" through various terrain. I'm pretty stoked he is picking it up. Not only does it stay in the family, but Mike can now come along with me on those epic DS rides! It's a win win situation. He hasn't ridden 2 wheels since probably 2004, but Sunday he rode his a$$ off. I couldn't believe it. He was right on my a$$ most of the way even through the technical, single track stuff. Just like at the dunes. He said he bike fit him perfectly, almost as if it was set up for him. That made me pretty stoked to hear. It's an awesome bike. I just wish you and Aaron could pick one up and then the OG crew could all go riding YEAR ROUND! haha Aaron refuses though. Wuss!
  9. Your doc must have given you some killer meds!
  10. You should have the place all to yourselves. Have fun Randy!
  11. yeah ALONG a (not a long) scenic route that you drive your car on. The stairwell down to the overlook doesn't look that far down.
  12. elevator to where? It's along a scenic route and there is a stairwell down to the overlook as pictured.
  13. Check this out! More info http://www.dezeen.co...tad-architects/
  14. ATC70decals.com (peewee) posted this on his facebook page and I thought it was hilarious, mostly because it's pretty much true. The old man on the pedal bike is the best! HAHAAA!! Wait, is that sandawg? LOL
  15. Well, every other year it has always been celebrated the weekend before if it falls on a Wednesday or earlier. It's usually always the last weekend in October so this year Oct 27-28 would seem logical. I couldn't see Halloween weekend being in November.
  16. Lookin good! I know how you feel. I'm the same way with my new bike. It's never ending!
  17. I won't be able to make it this weekend guys. Be safe out there and take some pics to post up when you get back!
  18. I wish! That is very similar to the setup I would love to get into. Different priorities and interests these days though.
  19. Tim you've got a great eye with that camera. Excellent shots! It was great seeing you and Bridget again. We had a really fun 4th with you two!
