  1. You spent your money wrong here. You could have had a fully running, pretty clean atc70 for $475.
  2. I caught some killer shots with the Go Pro footage despite the small smudge on the lens if you look close enough. Click them for larger pics. These are from the beginning of the first run of the morning.
  3. That's all I got for pics. Not many action shots. We never wanted to stop. The rides were great!
  4. langslair (Scott) grabbed some breakfast while he waited for his attempted JB Weld repair to dry. A couple pics I snapped while riding along with b370 to bring Mike some gas. Aaron and Mike fueling up Couple pics of Aaron and Mike heading back to the truck Hanging at the pole after another run Some cel phone pics... Stopped along a ride when we spotted the P-rump crew Tried getting a pic of Chad napping. He's getting quick. lol Hanging in the shade
  5. It held together but started to sag down a bit and melted through a small coolant hose. He got 1 ride out of it though.
  6. it didn't at all. See the RR with our new idea. lol http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=17583
  7. What a kickazz day at Dumont. I always love those smooth, razored out dunes. We sure did get lucky with the weather. It was super cool all morning and only got up to about 92° when we left at ~12:30. The slight winds kept things cool. We had a good size group that made it out. I think there was 11 or 12 people plus the Pahrump group of a few side by sides. Super nice folks. Chadwick, lvnalolife and I left Henderson at 3:30am. We met up at the gas station and saw mineurbiz, dune cruzer and his buddy Scott waiting. We loaded up mineurbiz's quad on our trailer and carpooled. Sand_YFZ and Mike were shortly behind us. We pulled into Dumont just before the sun rose. It was a little windy and about 71°. The sun peaked up just as we started getting geared up to ride. b370 getting ready an excited to dune his XP White truck day at Dumont. One more in the group pulled in too. haha This never gets old! We saw the group from Pahrump pull in over near bathroom 10. Together, we were the only ones there. Sand_YFZ's gorgeous piece of work Sand_YFZ and mineurbiz fueling up I told Scott (langslair) to go make some tracks in that smooth sand for a photo op. He had no problem volunteering. Then at the bottom of the hill his pipe came apart. We sort of "repaired" it. Aaron making some final adjustments for the soft sand. to be continued.... gotta run
  8. It was great! Temps weren't bad at all thanks to a little wind. Dunes were virgin of course and we had a great sized group. Got a handful of kickass runs in. I'll post what pics I took tomorrow. Just woke up and I'm going back to bed. lol
  9. Past my bedtime! See you guys at the travel center gas station at 4am (Blue Diamond/ Red Rock turnoff) or at Dumont around 5:30ish
  10. I can't ever do Wednesdays. Unless more people start showing up and want to do Wed as well, I don't think we can since me and Anna we were 50% of the group last night. lol
  11. Sweet! We'll be leaving the gas station on Blue Diamond & Red Rock turnoff probably around 4am. Once at Dumont we plan on parking off to the left by the base of the big face hill and superbowl. We can meet u either place.
  12. Remember the forecast HIGH temp is usually around like 4pm. It will be in the the 70's and 80's early in the morning.
  13. I've just heard of drag racer guys being harassed about their pipes in the past. I though it was because of the noise levels, but it was probably more for spark arrestors. They fit that certain profile though and were probably doing something else illegal in the first place.
  14. ^ there you go. Most super loud pipes don't have spark arrestors. I think there still is a noise limit, but it's a CA law, not Dumont/ BLM.
  15. So who is actually coming tonight?? I know Anna and I will be there.
  16. I think we're going to have some nice weather Sunday! High of only ~100 instead of like 109 or 110. That's not bad at all. We might end up making this a whole day trip.
  17. Welcome to the site, Doug. DB levels aren't really highly enforced at Dumont unless you are already busted for something else they'll probably write you up.
  18. Your thinking too hard. I wasn't referring to YOU. Knock it off, Walt! See you Sunday AM.
  19. d*ck LMAO Yeah we always do and get little feedback from FB. Most duners who actually dune/ ride, especially those who are die hard summer runners, are here on DDR.
  20. It's only $99 for the whole kit. The website seemed to start lagging shortly after I posted this. It was right after I got the email about it from Go Pro. Maybe it's popularity has draw a ton of traffic to their site. ? It says on their site the wifi signal is good up to 600 ft. It works on the Hero 1 or 2 according to the website
