  1. Yep! Sorry I somehow forgot to include that it is the 690 Enduro R. I think I was too excited. Yep, sure is. Nice bikes! That looks like the WR450 Joe Duner was recently selling. Is that the one?
  2. So I felt it was time for a change. A bit of an update perhaps. Despite the awesome rides my XR has brought me on over the years, I felt I needed more. So I picked up a brand new new 2012 KTM 690 Enduro R today. I'm pretty stoked. This thing rips! I'm a happy new KTM owner! Before I could even get the super gay DOT reflectors off the back, Anna snapped a pic. lol Off they come! First ride!Thumbs up. Oh yeah. I'm gonna be very happy! The bike feels great. The seat position, pegs, the bars, center of gravity down low, snappiness, and gobs of power....all feel really good. The overall ergonomics are spot on. I can't wait to get it farkled out and get out on some good rides with it. Many thanks to Greg and the guys at Champion KTM for taking care of me with much respect and professionalism.
  3. He was definitely a legend and a huge part of our automotive history. He'll be impossible to be forgotten. May he rest in peace and be bangin gears in the next life!
  4. oh yeah. I know all about that. Some of the decals have come off on their own over the years and it shows how much glossier my trailer used to be!
  5. Looks great! I want to do that to mine one of these days. I have been wanting to since 06 actually. lol
  6. If you had a code it might have been preventing a regen from running. As far as the dpf, the exhaust reaches temperatures upwards of 1400° or so during a regeneration, so I highly doubt it got damaged. I'm not sure what exactly the filter is made up of, but I'm guessing mostly metal screens. No moving parts.
  7. Dude that thing is gonna be badass. Good luck on the build, Eddy!
  8. Good times last night. I think I counted 13 in our group. Sorry, no pics again. 4 Kegs was ok, but I vote we don't go to that place again though. Big pain in the a$$ and they told us we should have made reservations. Really?
  9. Well duh! Lol I bet it sucks a$$ at Nelson singletrack though. Hahaa Sweet bike.
  10. . We'll keep it in mind for the next one. Will you show up or do you just want the business? Put it in the suggestion thread. Tonight we're meeting at 4 Kegs. Come on out!
  11. Calendar? It's tomorrow.. Do you have that much going on between now and then?
  12. Right on, Michael. Keep me posted when the first DDR boat party will be. Sweet. You found one. Can't believe you didn't tell me yet. Fugger. How ya like it?
  13. Smokin deal! Congrats Andy. Forest River makes a solid toyhauler. Mine is holding up great and it's an 06
  14. Nice shot. No pics, but man o man it was bright last night! I could see the mountain range around Henderson because the sky was glowing so much. Would have been a perfect night for a night ride.
  15. Sad news. A huge part of hip hop history has died. Rest in Peace, MCA http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/beastie-boys-co-founder-adam-yauch-dead-at-48-20120504

  18. ok good ideas. Maybe I'll just pick a place central or on the north end of town and post the place and time unless anyone objects. Pizza, burgers or tacos sounds good to me.
  19. Trying to keep these meetups cheap and simple without the hassle of reservations, group bill to split, etc, etc. Places like the last meetup at the Chicken Shack are perfect.
  20. So far we have 3 suggestions: Robertos, BWW, and 4 kegs. I was hoping we could focus these gatherings more around the food instead of alcohol. Any other suggestions or should we vote now??
  21. Then I guess it didn't happen. haha I didn't take any. I was grubbin!
  22. YES! That was the whole point of this thread! LOL
  23. See that's what I thought until I read a few reviews on Amazon. Some say if you wiggle them they stop working.
