With freezing temps lately, make sure you crack open your faucets and drain your lines/ water heaters in your RV's. :clown:

It was a spammer, but they're history now.

OK, is it just me or are there a ton more VW / standard travel cars out there lately? I was discussing this with Sandawg the other day and then again with OGP tonight. It seems there are more old skool cars than long travel cars in the dunes this season. Are there more or are there just less LT cars by comparison? Just an obversation.

I wanna go duning right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Steve. More more!

Usually pretty damn cold from what I remember.

I think it's a 5 or 6inch drop. Aluminum. Rated at 800 lbs tongue weight, 8000 trailer. Comes with a 2" ball and an extra straight hitch with no ball. $20

I also have an old box of dirty bolts. Free! You want these as well?

ok

Can anyone use this? Otherwise it's going in the trash. It was an extra roof panel for my Busa Short Sand Car that Larry threw in when my car was built.

Here, I converted your pics to jpg's so they show up.

We think alike.

This wouldn't be for the dunes.

This is so sick! I have to add one to my garage one day! I read not too long ago about a new electric bike. http://faster-faster.com It sounded like more of a concept than anything. Now it looks like KTM took the ball and ran with it! This is very interesting. Similar to what the article says, this may open up brand new riding areas not accessible my gas bikes and maybe even a whole new style or aspect of dirtbike riding. http://www.motorcycl...First-Look.aspx The link on KTM's site.. http://www.ktm.com/f...highlights.html

hahaaa no problem, Mike. Cool video with both views from each car!

so what are you saying? Hahaaa jk I know how much time it takes. No rush. I was just curious since it was footage you took before these runs/ videos that were posted.

Steve where is part 3 where the camera was mounted on my car? I thought that was a cool angle.

Rap_Rider it is! Congrats dude. I'll get the homepage updated right now.

wwwhoa! awesome.

No not that kind of pipe. I thought it was interesting so I figured I'd share. A few months back I was going out on a dual sport ride and came upon this giant oversize tractor setup for some big ole, heavy pipe. It was crazy big! The pictures do no justice to the size of everything. There was a truck behind to push, stop, and/or help steer the oversized setup. Check it out.

Cool story!

We'll give it until tonight then I'll update the homepage with a winner. Looks like Rap Rider might have it!

Not as good IMO. They're built for desert more than sand plus there's much less visibilty cresting dunes in a truck. Not a very comfortable feeling when you can't see what's over the ridge when there's a hood and fender blocking your view.

Gotta love happy endings! Man, that is great to hear Andy. I'm really happy for your family that things turned out ok!

I'm out. Stupid work for me that weekend. I am shooting for the following weekend at this point. (17-18th) Still gotta do some buggy maintenance/ repairs though. We shall see.
