  1. That's fine. I'll never own one. If I ever had to go backwards, I'd go back to a Busa car. Way more power, , reliability and suspension than a VW beam car. I don't care what ya dune, just pay attention! As long as the people driving them don't have tunnel vision like most holiday duners.
  2. Wow. 24 views and not one comment. You guys are getting boring these days.
  3. wow! What are the odds? hahaa That's way cool. Dude, my wife would pay money for a tour of your work. Me too actually. That sounds badass. Any chance you could make that happen? Sounds really cool.
  4. If it doesn't stay running on carb spray, it's NOT the carb. It might be worth bringing it in to Johnny Walker. They looked at mine for a similar problem. It ended up being a bad coil breaking down under load. Not saying that's your problem, but they deal with these problems day in and day out. It's worth the $100 or so to diag it properly. Otherwise your just throwing parts at it like I did. Talk to Ken Allen if you do go down there and tell him DDR sent ya. He will take good care of you.
  5. Have u tried to see if it stays running on carb spray? Might have a bad fuel pump.

  7. Oh snap! A wacky stunt for the TV show “Mythbusters” went haywire Tuesday and sent a cannonball tearing though a sleeping family's home in California. Read more: http://www.nydailyne...9#ixzz1fuZ3jFnm Awesome. Glad nobody was hurt.
  8. that's what was removed. Hahahaaaa
  9. With freezing temps lately, make sure you crack open your faucets and drain your lines/ water heaters in your RV's. :clown:
  10. It was a spammer, but they're history now.
  11. OK, is it just me or are there a ton more VW / standard travel cars out there lately? I was discussing this with Sandawg the other day and then again with OGP tonight. It seems there are more old skool cars than long travel cars in the dunes this season. Are there more or are there just less LT cars by comparison? Just an obversation.
  12. I wanna go duning right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Steve. More more!
  13. Usually pretty damn cold from what I remember.
  14. I think it's a 5 or 6inch drop. Aluminum. Rated at 800 lbs tongue weight, 8000 trailer. Comes with a 2" ball and an extra straight hitch with no ball. $20
  15. I also have an old box of dirty bolts. Free! You want these as well?
  16. Can anyone use this? Otherwise it's going in the trash. It was an extra roof panel for my Busa Short Sand Car that Larry threw in when my car was built.
  17. Here, I converted your pics to jpg's so they show up.
  18. This is so sick! I have to add one to my garage one day! I read not too long ago about a new electric bike. http://faster-faster.com It sounded like more of a concept than anything. Now it looks like KTM took the ball and ran with it! This is very interesting. Similar to what the article says, this may open up brand new riding areas not accessible my gas bikes and maybe even a whole new style or aspect of dirtbike riding. http://www.motorcycl...First-Look.aspx The link on KTM's site.. http://www.ktm.com/f...highlights.html
  19. hahaaa no problem, Mike. Cool video with both views from each car!
  20. so what are you saying? Hahaaa jk I know how much time it takes. No rush. I was just curious since it was footage you took before these runs/ videos that were posted.
  21. Steve where is part 3 where the camera was mounted on my car? I thought that was a cool angle.
