No not that kind of pipe. I thought it was interesting so I figured I'd share. A few months back I was going out on a dual sport ride and came upon this giant oversize tractor setup for some big ole, heavy pipe. It was crazy big! The pictures do no justice to the size of everything. There was a truck behind to push, stop, and/or help steer the oversized setup. Check it out.

Not as good IMO. They're built for desert more than sand plus there's much less visibilty cresting dunes in a truck. Not a very comfortable feeling when you can't see what's over the ridge when there's a hood and fender blocking your view.

I'm out. Stupid work for me that weekend. I am shooting for the following weekend at this point. (17-18th) Still gotta do some buggy maintenance/ repairs though. We shall see.

My electric start Lifan 110 is more than enough power for me, but more is always better. haha They bolt right in. They make the 120 electric start now. That would be my first choice if you were wanting to stay auto-clutch and electric start. Otherwise there are many options if you want more.

I love that app. I can honestly say out of all the times to Dumont I have never gone out to that spot. I've been to Little Dumont area, but never that far. I'll have to check it out one of these days. Looks like a fun ride.

Terry you reported this and it emailed every single moderator about him trying to edit his post. lol Not sure if you knew how the report function worked, but it threw up a huge flag to all the mods and admins. Looks like he figured it out. no?

This all comes down to common sense. Common sense and general observations siting at comp hill should indicate that most of the traffic flow goes up the right side and comes down the left side. There is no rule you can't go up where the buggy did, but he should have been aware of the dangers going up in the place he did. It is very hard to see people on the hill at night and it sounds like it was a bad call on his part. You can't really start pointing the finger when you go out there and accidents happen. Everyone knows the risks and they choose to take them. There are no roads or ways to enforce traffic flow on a sand dune.

Videos need to be hosted on you tube, photobucket, etc. As for your pics, they are probably way too big if they don't upload. Try to resize them down.

Right on! Come to think about it, the cocktail run was actually the run when it was mounted on my car. That was the one where raspadoo and Doug jumped in. Either way though, they were both good runs, but the other run was faster.
