  13. Very cool, Randy. Gotta love duning a minivan.
  14. http://www.msnbc.msn...ific/?GT1=43001 "Shiomi said that even if there was a meltdown, it wouldn't affect humans outside a six-mile (10-kilometer) radius." "Some 3,000 people within two miles (three kilometers) of the plant were urged to leave their homes, but the evacuation zone was more than tripled to 6.2 miles (10 kilometers) after authorities detected eight times the normal radiation levels outside the facility and 1,000 times normal inside Unit 1's control room."
  15. I've been watching that on the news following. Scary stuff! Hopefully they get it under control. They keep saying it shouldn't be a problem, but at the same time they are evacuating the area.
  16. Some of the same this same footage was used in the first video, but check out those waves and also at 1:50 those houses getting demolished. damn! <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/w3AdFjklR50" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
  17. Watching the videos and looking at the pics, it blows me away the power of mother nature. That has got to be scary as sh*t to see first hand all that water and rubble sweeping across the land. <object width="420" height="245" id="msnbc5d3bc6" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0"><param name="movie" value="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32545640"><param'>http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32545640"><param name="FlashVars" value="launch=42030003&width=420&height=245"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed name="msnbc5d3bc6" src="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32545640" width="420" height="245" flashvars="launch=42030003&width=420&height=245" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></object> Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
  18. Way to go, Crowdog! Way cool of you. You da man! March 10, 2011 - The American Sand Association is honored to welcome Jon Crowley to its Board of Directors. Crowley specializes in media relations specifically for internet based outlets and is currently the editor ofwww.UTVGuide.net andwww.DuneGuide.com websites respectively. Crowley has taken over the position held by Michael Sommer of Sand Sports Magazine. When asked why he wanted to be a part of the aSa board, Crowley stated, “I love the dunes and off-roading and want to make sure we keep as much of our land open to OHV use as possible. Our access to public lands is continually under threat of closure and it is important that enthusiast mobilize and act to keep our land open to UHV use. The American Sand Association is a key component of this for the Imperial Sand Dunes, and I felt it was time to step up and do my part." Crowley resides in Northern California and will serve a two-year term. http://news.duneguide.com/2011/03/jon-crowley-joins-american-sand.html
