  1. This is for skinner. He was asking me how I wired my 110. I used this wiring diagram. I made some notes/ additions on it because the wiring colors sort of vary between manufacturers I guess. I have the electric start 110 (107) from DRATV.COM My starter/ kill switch is slightly different, but the diagram shows a basic setup. This diagram will save you tons of guessing and time. Be sure to click it for larger size and then print this badboy up!
  2. Exactly! I can't love how motivated she stays. That's my girl! That's fuggin right! Nah, we wouldn't be so cruel. We'll bring you out on your one day off a month .
  3. No! Eff you, Mark! I'm not even gonna click it. I already spent way too much money on this damn thing!
  4. I'm not too familiar with that motor but it should haul some a$ for sure. My 110 is fast enough! I wonder what motors those R55 guys from last year started with or if they sell larger Lifan motors that fit right in. They were up there like 160-185cc! They are just stupid fast.
  5. It's been a few years since everyone has posted up their rides and I know many people have something different now. I figured it would be nice to get a fresh thread going in here with some current pics of everyone's sandrails. So...post up your rail! I suppose I'll start. 05 Tech 3 turbo Honda 3.5
  6. I'm kind of curious how much rain the dunes got this weekend. Anyone make it out? Chime in if you did.

  8. Last night I went down to visit Anna at her new gig and take some pics. In addition to her TWO other jobs , she is now also a safety diver for the Mermaid show in the big tank in the Silverton Casino. She tends to the divers and monitors the mermaids as well as some other aquarium duties. She was looking for something fun to do on the side for some extra cash and she for sure found it. I am so proud of her. She has taken her career as an aquarist to the top and loving every minute of it. Not many of us have half as much fun as she does while at work. Here are some pics I took. (She is the scuba diver, not the mermaid btw.)
  9. Great video Rob! I love the clarity and slow motion of him in the whoops.
  10. Well even not towing, I'd change it at least every 30K, even if you run the fancy synthetic oil.
  11. There's some killer riding down at his place in Parker! Not boating....RZR's. Speaking of New Year's. Glamis might not be looking so hot at this point. We shall wait and see.
  12. If you tow with it, I'd change it every 15,000 miles. Cheap insurance, especially with a 1/2 ton. Those rear ends are small and go through alot of abuse when towing a toyhauler!
  13. OK, now that I've got your attention. Please do me a favor and click the link and vote for Travis Reif - 1965 Chevy El Camino! Show your support for one DDR's sponsor's and also a very good friend of mine, TCS T. (Travis) It only takes a few seconds. Let's help The Custom Shop be voted the best of the best! http://www.truckinwe...2010/index.html Here's the Elco they built. Thanks for the support.
  14. I think he's referring to a dirtbike...not quad.
  15. Glamis is next for us. New Years weekend rocked there last year so we're doing it again this year.
  16. Thanks Jack. Nah, no new lens yet. A few of those pics were taken with my little Olympus which has a fairly wide angle. I also used it for the panoramic shot. It auto stitches 3 or 4 pics together in panorama mode. Wish you could have made it out too, Jack.
  17. There always is. It sounded ridiculous though and I had to share.
  18. I'd love to hit up Saint A. The tough part would be getting off work. That would be a way fun trip though! That guy in the video looked like he definitely knew how to live life. That's too bad it was cut so short.
  19. kickass video, man! Those were some great lines out there.
  20. panoramic shot of the empty camp area. (click the pic for a larger image)
  21. This may have been the nicest weekend out there so far this season. The weather was incredible, there was hardly ANYBODY there, and the dunes were bitchen smooth. We pulled in Friday night around 9 ish and met up with 80grit, OGP, Joe Duner, sanddunesaddict, wsky70, and a couple others. It was a relaxing and slightly chilly night that mostly consisted of some cold beers around the fire and a movie. Saturday was absolutely gorgeous when we woke up. After some breakfast and coffee, me, Chadwick & Mike hit the dunes on the quads. There was practically nobody out there and the lines were great. Shortly after lunch we went on another ride, but took our new friend, Steve out this time. That ride was amazing. We were 5th gear pinned from the south end to the north end and never slowed down. We must have covered all of Dumont in about 7 minutes. What a rush. That was a kickass ride. After getting back to camp, Chad had to take off and we all went out for a run in the buggies. We stopped at Talladega to get some pics of Bert & Rob doing some high speed runs. Then as we were about to take off, I popped another PCM fuse just like last trip. I diagnosed it in no time though and found out all it was was the O2 sensor was shorted. So I just unplugged it and I was good to go. phew. Glad to figure that out! Sat night was good times. 80grit got the UFC fight and hosted a lil UFC party in his toyhauler. That fight card was really good and it was really fun to watch. I was glad to see St Pierre win mostly because I had a little last minute bet going on via text with ragdoll. lol I was going to buy him a bottle of Captain if Koscheck won and he'd buy me a bottle of Tanqueray if St Pierre won. Awesome. And holy crap. Why was that popcorn SO good? hahaaaa Then later after the fight we hit up comp hill. Our party in a box worked out well and we had a nice little fire going while we ran the hill. I let my buddy Mike drive my car over there since I was already feeling pretty good. He was very impressed with my new car. He has a new respect for turboed Hondas. Sunday morning we slept in a little bit and relaxed. It felt freakin great. Then Mike & I went on one more quad ride before packing it up early afternoon and heading out. These weekends are really was Dumont is all about to me. I can't wait to do another one, but with Anna next time for sure. Too bad the rest of the crew wasn't there, but it was great seeing and camping with everyone that was out this weekend. Pics are on the way.
