  1. Sweet. Progress! Let me know when the disassembly party is so we can bust it down for powder coat.
  2. wow I was only joking but yeah for sure! Hit me up when you know the dates. Thanks Eric!
  3. Sometime over the next month I am going to need a crane service that can lift a complete BBQ/ bar island over a 2 story house. The island is about 8-10 feet long and maybe about 5 feet wide. If anyone has any connections please let me know. Last time this thing was moved it cost about $750 which actually seems pretty reasonable to me but I'm hoping to save whatever I can. raspadoo, wanna make a Vegas trip with one of your trucks?
  4. The dates for the holidays and most of the events for next season have been posted on the events page. The 3rd annual poker run date hasn't been set quite yet so that's not on there but it will be added. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/events.html If there are any events or other dates you think might be helpful, please post them up or email me at pete@dumontduneriders.com
  5. Calm down Bert. "Been there wrecked that....twice!!!!!" <---You sound pretty proud about it to me. I wouldn't have even said anything at all if I were you. Hey look...it's Bert after the Malibu fell off his rack----> Love ya buddy! Milk cheers.
  6. Damn, that sucks big time Ian. Glad nobody got hurt! ...and he's proud of it! Post it! Chevy dealer? He works at VW.
  7. Well compare the Droid screen to my ENV2 and it looks like god damn 3D! Here's a decent comparison video. Sam, what do you mean the size is rediculous? They look almost identical. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9YGvLHvUxQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9YGvLHvUxQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9YGvLHvUxQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
  8. Funny how the media tries to make the Vegas to Reno race that is "STILL GOING ON" to be some sort of shocking news. Of course it's still going on. Does I-15 re-open after a fatal crash??? duh
  9. Post up a pic now. (only one) The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. 10. After the storm tonight the skies were full of clouds & color at sunset.
  11. Mike how much was that phone? $199.99 with 2yr contract renewal?
  12. yep, that's in the best of section.
  13. Temps lower than normal? I don't know if you've been to Dumont or near it lately, but it was well over 110 today in Vegas. Season kickoff has always been the first weekend of October for most, but we'll have to watch the weather. If it's still hot I'm waiting until it's nice out.
  14. Should be the next one according to Mike. I think that would be Sept-Oct issue.
  15. That's the one I was thinking of getting exactly for that reason. Looks like a badass "phone". Let me know how you like it!
  16. "everyone is in a dress....with a mustache"
  17. I was reading about this on RDC I thought I was clicking on a news link. My stomach dropped after seeing a video of the truck losing control into the crowd. So very sad and tragic. Thoughts & prayers to all involved. I couldn't imagine witnessing such a thing.
  18. That's why he recommended Johnny Walkers. They are very reasonable. It's best to have someone look at it who knows these things very well instead of throwing parts at it. Not saying you would do that, but it sometimes takes more time and money to try and do things yourself. When my Onan was acting up I brought my hauler into Ken @ Johnny Walker and they took very good care of me and handled it.
  19. I think there's only one guy who is missing from the pic. Those are just the service techs. That doesn't include the quick lube and body shop guys. 50 bays and 35 guys? Doesn't sound like they had much room to work. We have about 40 bays. Each guy has at least 2 stalls.
  20. I saw this on the news yesterday and had a handful of friends sent me pics of all the traffic they got stuck in on the way to Cali as a result of it. It's very sad to see. An F350 apparently had a blow out or something that caused the woman to swerve and crash into a paving machine that was parked on the side of the road. Both her and the father died leaving behind 3 children. By the looks of things in the back of the truck, they were going on a camping trip or something. Crazy how quickly things can happen. http://www.fox5vegas.com/news/24627103/detail.html
  21. yea....pizza and sodas. That was way cooler than these lame shirts though. haha Not to mention the 20-30 grand they spent on finally getting the AC up and running.
