It was the temp outside * in front of the tuck after sitting parked out back along the wall running for a couple hours. Oh yeah, I've done that test. 160+ in some cars parked in our back lot. I swear that lot is one of the hottest places in Vegas in summer. All those cars and lots of black top makes it ridiculous hot! I think my body has become acclimated to the heat at this point of the summer. It usually takes a good month of some stOOpid hot temps and our A/C being out at work and I realize it doesn't bother me as much anymore. It's mostly a mental thing. Just don't think about it and concentrate on more important stuff and it's all good. Eat right, drink plenty of water, stay in shape, and you find it much less painful.

115? That's chilly compared to a day I had last week outside our shop!

Well during the months of "hot as f*ck", I hit the lake & river every so often, do some higher elevation riding, and alot of this ---> waiting for god damn October to get here!!!!! There isn't much else. I stay indoors as much as possible. Concerts, hang out at friends' houses, pool parties, etc.

holy crap. It's more amazing someone was able to capture a pic of it like that in the air! Sweet.

MAD PROPS TO YOU GUYS! Thank you for taking the time, energy, and effort to go out in the middle of the desert early in the morning to clean up where we play. Not to mention dealing with the heat and spending the $ in gas too! It looks great!!! You guys rock!

Hey guys, thanks to all for stepping up and taking the initiative to clean these jerks' mess up. I'd be there with you to help but there is no way Saturday works for me. I already have other commitments. Please take some pics of the cleanup if you could to share with us when you get back. Hopefully it's a quick easy job. Side note: livetodrag (jay) did pm me after the last night drags to offer his help to clean this up the same way but I thought it would interfere with the way BLM needs to handle it. Turns out I was wrong.

Nope, we were thee ONLY people out there. Funny you mentioned the singing dunes. When we were sitting at the north pole we thought we heard a very faint noise like a bike or something off in the distance. We were thinking, damn we aren't the only ones here, then as we got back to camp....not one truck or ANYONE else was out there. Just us. I bet it was those dunes. It sounded like that deep frequency hum noise typical of dunes in the summer. They were super steep so that would make sense.

It wasn't that hot the 4 hours we were there. Mostly in the 90's. What...you can't handle that? We'll put a post up again. Just chime in if you wanna go. It's a possibility!

It was posted in the trip report from the last night drag races that a group that was camped next to this shitter did this that night or following morning.
