  1. of course. You can put it in reverse even with a trailer attached. duh! If you wanted some more power and it seemed like it was bogging more than you wanted gears would help. Figure about 500-1200 bucks though. You may or may not need them though. Eff it. Pull the trigger, buy the trailer, and then buy a 3/4 or 1 ton within a year or so afterwards like the rest of us did. You will be fine though. A 19 footer isn't that much for your truck. Quit thinking about it so much and go have fun! As for your brakes, all you need is a brake controller. About a hundred bucks and a 30 pack for install and you'll be styling.
  2. sh*t who cares. I wouldn't mind if I had to go back to having crappy reception at Dumont. Eff the phone all together.
  3. Nice! And dayyyyum...check out that rich guy transmission! BALLER! If I ever..... I can't wait to see it with the panels.
  4. Hey she's alive! Your truck can pull it. Loaded up it will be pushing the limits of your truck but everyone does that. You will want to keep your speeds fairly low when towing but I'd say it's do-able if you don't over do it. One thing to keep in mind is you will have to park on hard pack at Dumont because any where near a finger dune you will get stuck pulling out of camp with only 2WD.
  5. I wonder if they are going to start enforcing the rule about people riding on trailers and trucks, mostly like trick or treaters on Halloween. ?
  6. This should be an interesting build. Sweet ride. I wonder if Cole gives Dave any credit on this one this time.
  7. You're insane. Bring LOTS of water and shade.
  8. Here's another bump for this thread. Yesterday I went out to snap a pic of the sunrise coming up from behind the mountains.
  9. You mean the DP thread link I posted? No, I don't have them yet. That pic is from one of the links.
  10. Rushjunkie told me about these and I was wondering if anyone on here else runs them. They supposedly eliminate or greatly reduce the common hopping and sh*tty ride in the 3/4 and 1 tons. more pics diesel place link

  12. Very cool, Mike! Lee (RUn2it) just got a 7D as well. He said there's ALOT of new features you can mess with on those bodies. Congrats!
  13. I've had great experience with El Monte RV.
  14. Wow, incredible photos, Neal! Good job as always, especially in those conditions like you said. I love that shot of the razorback with the sand blowing off of the top! They are ALL really good though. Thanks for getting some really good coverage.
  15. Sucks about those dirtbags who trash our playground. Is that how they prefer it to look next time they go back there? I just don't understand ghetto a$$ people. I don't know about any more bitching about trash, but can't wait to see all your shots, Neal!
  16. It's gonna be pretty damn hot at Dumont until October. As for the VIN, they aren't too strict about that at Dumont, but Glamis you better have one or else. Are you from NV, CA...?
  17. Badass, Dan! Congrats! It's a good feeling huh!
  18. I'm heading down there now. Woods and Shanna are on their way and Tim is still somewhere outside of friggen BARSTOW.
  19. So Woods, what's the plan for tomorrow? Try and keep in mind that PT's happy hour is from 3-7. Otherwise I'm game for whatever/ whenever.
