  2. Aww shiat...Gary's got the 70 fever! Looking good.
  3. Thnx Tom. Nah, no warehouse...just the little 2 car garage. I'm actually down to less toys than in the past. I have gotten rid of the ones we don't use anymore and upgraded the ones we do. Thanks Pat. There's bunch of dual sport groups that my buddies have told me about. It could have been one of them. Who knows. I've actually been by your house a few times now on the bike, but the shop wasn't open so I didn't stop.
  4. Dan I might have one from mine before I did my full-on expensive as hell dumb as fk restoration project. I'll have to check the attic. It's got a crack, but I'll let ya know if I still have it.
  5. Ditched mine all together! Eff that chit. Not worth the $$ IMO.
  6. Coral is one of my favorite places. I hope to make it up there sometime this spring or fall. Glad you had a great trip and enjoyed the place. Thanks for the pics!
  7. OGP picked it up at auction. Check the classifieds. He has it on here fo sale.
  8. Thanks guys. Just got her registered today!
  9. The drive home was torture...70 mph the whole way so no other tires would separate and explode. Good seeing you too. I wish we had time to bring Woods along and stay longer, but we had to get back. That stereo is fuggin insane!!! MUTHA BITCHEZZZ!
  10. Here's me havin a beer saying goodbye to the YZ right before I sold it last week. That sh*t was harder than I thought to let go of! I don't regret it though. Time to turn another page.
  11. Thanks guys. I really wanted to, Woods, but we had absolutely no time and had to get back home since it was getting pretty late. We went to Redlands and back in the same day. Plus I had another one of my BFG's separate on my DMax and was running on the spare the whole way back home. I just had one go last weekend too so I was praying that that the 2 remaining tires held up to make it home. I don't get it. Those tires aren't even that old. We'll see ya in a couple weeks bud.
  12. Thanks Chad. It really is SUPER clean. The guy I bought it from was the original owner and bought it new in May 2005. He mostly only used it to commute to and from his job as a school teacher. lol
  13. Well it was hard to do, but I sold my old '94 YZ250. I've had that bike for over 12 years and have had tons of great memories from it, but the fact of the matter is that it just sat in the garage more than it got ridden. I never rode it in the dunes because 90% of the time I am driving the buggy or riding the Rappy. You can only enjoy so many dune toys during a trip to D in one weekend. That and so many places nearby are closed to OHV use I could never find the time to get all loaded up and drive to BFE to ride. So...on to the solution. I bought a 2005 Honda XR650L dual sport. Anna and drove into Redlands, CA yesterday to pick it up. The owner lived down in El Centro and thankfully was cool enough meet me much closer. I'm super stoked to go out on long adventures on this thing. No, it won't be for the dunes, but I will going on long rides to places where most don't go. I have a handful of buddies with dual sport bikes that always go out so it's gonna be a blast. Just in time for spring too. This thing is super plush and comfortable to ride. So far I've only cruised it around my neighborhood and a little bit in the desert and it does great. It's really fun to ride. It's already got a nice big 5+ gallon tank on it, some carb mods, XR's Only exhaust, updated hand gaurds with the turn signals integrated into them, it's been de-smogged and uncorked, and has fat bars.
  14. Just stay way far away from those u-joint axles. They break alot of sh*t. ie: rip out trailing arms, crack frames, break trans side cases, etc etc. They don't plunge properly under load. 2D's are fine as long as you treat them right and don't have crazy torque and alot of weight to your car. They hold up just fine. Just look at painterjoe and how he drives his big 4 seat extreme car. He has a few season's on his 2D. You just need to use common sense with them.
  15. HELL yeah. That's one way to get the party started.
  16. ^ I didn't but that's some funny chit. hahaa Fuggin pink tank top girl. I can't stop laughing at the look on her face.
  17. <----is gettin primed and ready. :atc:

  19. Fellow off-roaders The Obama, Reid, Pelosi administration has an agenda to close as much multiple use land as possible in the next 7 months, creating Dozens of useless National monuments. Harry Reid is using his son, Rory Reid and the Clark County Commission to back door a deal with Friends of Gold Butte. The Commission is "urging" that congress create a new National monument at Gold Butte, closing 133,000 acres of land. This is our land that is being stripped from our hands without input from the land users. Please take a few minutes and contact Shelly Berkley, Dina Titus and the Clark County Commissioners and let them know that this land grab is wrong thing to do. The Commission has had very little input from the off-road community. How can over 100 thousand people visit the Dumont Dunes area in one season and less than 15 show up at a commission meeting involving the closing of 133 thousand acres of our land? What area will they focus on next? The Dunes, Pioche? Please Contact: Representative Shelley Berkley 2340 Paseo Del Prado, Suite D-106 Las Vegas, NV 89102 (702) 220-9823 (phone - Las Vegas) http://berkley.house.gov/contact/email.html Representative Dina Titus 8215 S Eastern Avenue, Suite 205 Las Vegas, NV 89123 (702) 387-4941 (phone - Las Vegas) http://titus.house.gov/go/constituent_serv...ontact-us.shtml Clark County Commission 500 Grand Central Parkway Las Vegas, NV 89106 (702) 455-3500 (phone - Las Vegas) E-mail Clark County Commissioners http://www.accessclarkcounty.com/depts/com...commission.aspx You will need to scroll down to the commissioner directory.
