  1. Hard to say but I would prepare for it just in case. Also, I heard it's down to one lane both directions at all times so even when they aren't blasting it gets pretty backed up at times.
  2. Is there an echo in here? haha 👍 😆
  3. @vegas style got caught in it this afternoon. It's hard to say which days they'll be blasting but they say every other day. So maybe Friday afternoon will be the next day. ? Just avoid it from 12:30-2:30 PM and you should be good.
  4. For real! What happened to the nice, fall weather??
  5. Agreed, but I can buy two of the Generacs for that price. Well, that is if they ship them to me. LOL
  6. Yeah I'm not too worried they won't take care of it. Problem is I wanted to try out the generator this weekend. I don't need it, but it would have been nice.
  7. Unfortunately no. "This generator" never existed. The seller turned out to be a scammer on amazon. I thought Amazon was better than that. Waiting on my refund now through Amazon and if it doesn't go through I'm disputing the charges on my credit card. I even looked on the seller's reputation and it showed mostly positive before I bough the generator. They must have scammed quickly because now look at their reviews... https://www.amazon.com/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=111-7463027-9548204&seller=AO3NU5KU1FL96&tab=&vasStoreID=
  8. Well this might have been too good to be true. Amazon and the tracking shows it was delivered, but to Santa Paula, CA US. I live in Henderson, NV. I contacted the seller on Thursday and haven't heard anything back yet. I have to wait about one more business day before I can ask for a refund or dispute the charges. I don't want a refund. I want my damn generator.
  9. Just a heads up to all our buggy guys and girls, this season's Buggy Roundup with be on Dec 8-9, 2018. This is a group DDR trip where all the buggies of Dumont camp and run together all weekend. If you have a buggy, you are invited. Other are always welcome to join, but are asked to please stay behind all the buggies on dune runs and out of the group buggy photo. So mark it on your calendars and plan your dune trips accordingly. It's two weeks after Thanksgiving weekend. Hope to see lots of buggies again this year. You can RSVP to the event here, We'll be camped in the same spot across from bathroom 10 on the right side of the entrance road. It's hard packed and easy to find. Some pics from last year,
  10. Subie 4cyl would be perfect or a Honda 3.2 or 3.5 N/A would be my first choice
  11. Presented by Four Stroke Association Rumble in the Desert Drag Race & Banshee Wars at Banshee Hill Test & Tune on Friday, Nov 16, 2018, from 12PM-5PM Racing on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM
  12. Yeah I thought with these fairly chilly mornings lately we'd finally have cool weather for Halloween. Nope! Looks like highs in the mid-eighties. Should be nice though. Anna hates the cold so she'll be happy. haha
  13. It's been on the list, but I've always wanted to use my vacation days for other types of trips. If we got a group together, that could be fun though.
  14. Very cool. Hope to see that beast out at buggy Roundup again. Dec 8-9!
  15. No I think he just finished it. There's a build thread in sandrail talk. I'm not sure he's had it out yet. 👍
  16. Badass. Looking good. How did the shakedown go?
  17. Yeah pretty much. Don't forget the beer! Lol I've actually got dune trips down to about $300-400 with food, beer, diesel & race gas.
  18. Great info. Thanks! We'll see how the Generac 2200 does. It gets reviews that match your experience with the Yamaha. For the price I don't think I can go wrong. It costs about the price of a dune trip or less.
  19. Glad I snatched it up when I did. It was $445 with free shipping this morning. Now it's listed at $465 + $30 shipping. https://amzn.to/2COJbUs I knew it was a good deal when I saw it at that price. Ever used camelcamelcamel.com? Pretty handy website to gauge price trends of an amazon product. Just plug in the url and it tells you the highest, lowest and average price it has been listed at. It has helped me save tons.
