  1. We had alot of fun this Halloween! The turnout was huge as it has been the last couple years. We tried a new camp spot this year and loved it. There were still a ton of trick-or-treaters that came through with some awesome costumes. Never made it over to the trunk or treat because we were too busy in camp having fun. Glad to see @mineurbiz and the Romo Motorsports crew in the wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man costumes. 😆 Every year they go all out! I've never seen so many damn side x sides in my entire life. Dumont sure has changed since I started going out. I miss seeing all the different buggies and homemade stuff you used to see out there. There used to be really fast stuff at the hill and chicks dancing around. Now we have dudes dancing and pretty lame races, if any at all. LOL The one thing I noticed and really liked this year was good dune etiquette! Everyone seemed to be very smart in the dunes and watch out for each other. As many lines of other duners we came across, most everyone looked like they were alert and smart about avoiding close calls. Weather was WARM during the day, but we hunkered down in the AC and had a really good time in camp. We found out @Dent boy's new baller motorhome holds like 20 people. hahaa We burned through all our race gas and beer in the 4 days we were there. It was a great weekend! Pics...
  2. I was hoping to get some, but we never went looking too much in the area. We only drove up the hill towards the memorial hill. There was a dozer just past the fence line up there, but we didn't see any construction. I have a feeling it may be up in the hills a bit past the fence.
  3. Somewhere in the southern hills past bathroom 3 area. We saw some construction equipment up there over Halloween weekend, but could see where any work was done.
  4. Unfortunately we never made it over there to check it out. We were busy handing out candy to trick or treaters in camp.🎃 We got quite a few this year even being camped a little farther out from our usual spot.
  5. Hard to say but I would prepare for it just in case. Also, I heard it's down to one lane both directions at all times so even when they aren't blasting it gets pretty backed up at times.
  6. Is there an echo in here? haha 👍 😆
  7. @vegas style got caught in it this afternoon. It's hard to say which days they'll be blasting but they say every other day. So maybe Friday afternoon will be the next day. ? Just avoid it from 12:30-2:30 PM and you should be good.
  8. For real! What happened to the nice, fall weather??
  9. Agreed, but I can buy two of the Generacs for that price. Well, that is if they ship them to me. LOL
  10. Yeah I'm not too worried they won't take care of it. Problem is I wanted to try out the generator this weekend. I don't need it, but it would have been nice.
  11. Unfortunately no. "This generator" never existed. The seller turned out to be a scammer on amazon. I thought Amazon was better than that. Waiting on my refund now through Amazon and if it doesn't go through I'm disputing the charges on my credit card. I even looked on the seller's reputation and it showed mostly positive before I bough the generator. They must have scammed quickly because now look at their reviews... https://www.amazon.com/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=111-7463027-9548204&seller=AO3NU5KU1FL96&tab=&vasStoreID=
  12. Well this might have been too good to be true. Amazon and the tracking shows it was delivered, but to Santa Paula, CA US. I live in Henderson, NV. I contacted the seller on Thursday and haven't heard anything back yet. I have to wait about one more business day before I can ask for a refund or dispute the charges. I don't want a refund. I want my damn generator.
  13. Just a heads up to all our buggy guys and girls, this season's Buggy Roundup with be on Dec 8-9, 2018. This is a group DDR trip where all the buggies of Dumont camp and run together all weekend. If you have a buggy, you are invited. Other are always welcome to join, but are asked to please stay behind all the buggies on dune runs and out of the group buggy photo. So mark it on your calendars and plan your dune trips accordingly. It's two weeks after Thanksgiving weekend. Hope to see lots of buggies again this year. You can RSVP to the event here, We'll be camped in the same spot across from bathroom 10 on the right side of the entrance road. It's hard packed and easy to find. Some pics from last year,
  14. Subie 4cyl would be perfect or a Honda 3.2 or 3.5 N/A would be my first choice
