  1. 2 tubes of the STEELCO should be more than enough for 4 CV's. You don't needd that much in each CV and you don't pack the boots like some people think you have to.
  2. Heaven forbid...load a quad in the back of the truck!??? OH NNNO! That's rediculous!
  3. this is pure comedy right here. Calm down Bud! Peg Leg even said it was all in good fun. You might be taking the sh*t talk a lil too serious. You started most of this remember?
  4. Who said I don't like anyone? Party? ok! :mischevious:
  5. Pat thanks for helping preach what we have been trying to do for years on this site. The BLM really does listen and Terry (ynot)/ Friends of Dumont Dunes does a great job communicating with them and working towards what's in the best interest for the duners at Dumont. Other than a few bad apple rangers (in my opinion lol) the Barstow BLM is really full of some great people who are on our side 100%. I wish I could have made the meeting. Being that is was on a Saturday I would have been there for sure, but it was my ONE saturday to work for the month and I couldnt switch. I was hoping we'd have some important Dumont info or interesting latest happenings at the dunes but still nothing. :mischevious:
  6. Well I'd help, but we'll will only be there for less than a day on Saturday so I'm out. :mischevious: There's barley any time to play let alone pick up other a$$hats' trash. Hopefully more weekend goers will cruise over to help. Great idea especially on the big weekends. Comp needs it. An even better idea would be for people to hand out trash bags at comp at night to prevent the problem in the first place.
  7. I didn't mean cheap as in price. I meant qaulity. I just don't understand why so many people run that conventional CV grease anymore. I don't know what stuff that Bell Ray is, but it sounds like it is thw stuff that breaks down easily under high temp and after a few trips. There are so many brands and names that get thrown around these days when it comes to CV grease. The stuff I am talking about sounds like what andydew is running as well. Talk to Bert (sanddunesaddict). He will tell you all about it too. It is the sh*t and much cheaper than most of the stuff that the "big builders" will swear by. :mischevious: Everyone I know who has ever run it has never had a CV fail from lack of lubrication. You don't have to service your CV's nearly as much with that good thick stuff in there. I'll get a pic of the tube tomorrow at work and post it up.
  8. just a reminder the DDR Meet & greet is Saturday at 2pm @ the south pole. Damn how many beotch's we got in here? :mischevious:
  9. Your biggest investment would be STEELCO grease. It's that really thick stringy red chit. We use it at the dealership on stuff like slip yokes. That chit doesn't break down and holds up under more abuse that our cars could ever put it through. Never used those grease and go spacers, but I guess they make sense if you run the cheaper grease. lol
  10. Hell yea Eric. Looks great. Performance Rhino does some very clean work. Got any before pics of the carnage? haha
  11. you guys are all liars. I haven't seen one porn site listed. Or is DDR like porn for most of you sandaholics? :mischevious:
  12. WOW! I bet his friends and family can take a huge deep breathe now! That is incredible news, Dave. Is he able to do this yet?--->
  13. Badass! Great job. As for the spindle mounts, don't even sweat it. Me and a many of my buddies I run with all have spindle mount wheels on our cars and they are plenty strong. We put em to the test too. Trust me. lol Now, older design Short Sand Car spindles...that's a different story.
  14. Thanks Mike and welcome. I'll be at Dumont this weekend, but only for a day trip on Saturday.
  15. settle down Beavis That was posted on Saturday. The forescast changes daily ya know.
  16. I was thinking about that today. Get a hold of him and find that out if you could.
  17. I think the CLEAR residential svc just isn't available in Henderson yet. CLEAR mobile broadband works here in Hendo no problem. My sister has it. As for Dumont, I would guess it does but thats just a guess.
  18. In the 3rd pic... TV setting, 15 seconds, f14, ISO 100 :freakin_nuts:
  19. This thread needs a I snapped some shots at a Wranglers fight hockey game last week. :freakin_nuts: These were with my good lense. (70-200 f2.8) The/2.8 really helps when shooting indoors.
  20. Great shot, Eric. How was it out there. Did you boys go tear it up? :freakin_nuts:
  21. Thanks guys. The 1st two were taken along Horizon Ridge...a little closer into town and overlooking the strip. The rest were just outside Boulder City so it was hard to get any decent fog shots from so far away. I wanted get more shots closer into town but didnt want to drive all over the place looking for a better spot.
  22. I can't believe this thread has gone over 120 posts and 4 pages. :freakin_nuts: Internet chit talkers are coming outta the woodworks. "whoa, who's that guy?...and that guy?...and holy crap...they're ALL in this thread!"
  23. Hey Ash! Long time no see buddy. Cool pics. Man you get to see it all.
