Just a heads up to all our buggy guys and girls, this season's Buggy Roundup with be on Dec 8-9, 2018. This is a group DDR trip where all the buggies of Dumont camp and run together all weekend. If you have a buggy, you are invited. Other are always welcome to join, but are asked to please stay behind all the buggies on dune runs and out of the group buggy photo. So mark it on your calendars and plan your dune trips accordingly. It's two weeks after Thanksgiving weekend. Hope to see lots of buggies again this year. You can RSVP to the event here, We'll be camped in the same spot across from bathroom 10 on the right side of the entrance road. It's hard packed and easy to find. Some pics from last year,

Subie 4cyl would be perfect or a Honda 3.2 or 3.5 N/A would be my first choice

Yeah I thought with these fairly chilly mornings lately we'd finally have cool weather for Halloween. Nope! Looks like highs in the mid-eighties. Should be nice though. Anna hates the cold so she'll be happy. haha

It's been on the list, but I've always wanted to use my vacation days for other types of trips. If we got a group together, that could be fun though.

Very cool. Hope to see that beast out at buggy Roundup again. Dec 8-9!

No I think he just finished it. There's a build thread in sandrail talk. I'm not sure he's had it out yet. 👍

Badass. Looking good. How did the shakedown go?

Yeah pretty much. Don't forget the beer! Lol I've actually got dune trips down to about $300-400 with food, beer, diesel & race gas.

1st world problems 😂

Great info. Thanks! We'll see how the Generac 2200 does. It gets reviews that match your experience with the Yamaha. For the price I don't think I can go wrong. It costs about the price of a dune trip or less.

Glad I snatched it up when I did. It was $445 with free shipping this morning. Now it's listed at $465 + $30 shipping. https://amzn.to/2COJbUs I knew it was a good deal when I saw it at that price. Ever used camelcamelcamel.com? Pretty handy website to gauge price trends of an amazon product. Just plug in the url and it tells you the highest, lowest and average price it has been listed at. It has helped me save tons.

Please list a price in your ad. -
I know right. Crazy huh! It's on sale so I think I'm gonna snatch one up. I hardly ever use the AC so I wouldn't worry about that.

Looks like Generac offers the same one even cheaper on amazon ! Hmmm

Been looking at buying a Honda 2200 generator this season but then I just saw these yesterday. Lowes now offers a new model Craftsman 2200 that looks very similar. The specs are almost identical but it's considerably less money. These get amazing reviews too. They have a 3000 too, but I don't think I need that much. Does everyone who runs a Honda 2000 feel it's enough? I've run my microwave off of a 2000 before so that's why I think it'll do. They both have Generac engines.

Better it happened now though rather than out at the dunes. 😨

Been working like crazy on my buggy. I should be ready in time. Getting stoked!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Jodi

All good IrnBear!

So to clarify...this is Mt Potisi, not Mtn Pass. Mt Pass is the hill after Primm.

Just fill up at home and haul the water. You won't notice the difference. Baker has water, but it's Baker.
