  1. So it sounds like the dunes were pretty rough. Is that what you guys are tryin to say? Any more pics guys?
  2. Yep, I've been meaning to go get my J endorsement since I never decided to pursue getting my class A after I got my my permit. I'm not too worried about it. "Most" cops don't bother guys with trucks and trailers like mine even though I am over weight by about 4-5K.
  3. I'm suprised nobody has been talking about this yet on here. Trav just sent me a link to a video. Check it out. Pretty crazy stuff if you were down there yesterday. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9T3-nGaV20&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9T3-nGaV20&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9T3-nGaV20&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  4. screw that...if there's no one camps near where I'm driving I'm going faster than 15 to get to the dunes.
  5. Nothing wrong with a small meet & greet from time to time. You can actually meet and talk with new peeps when the crowd is a lil smaller.
  6. Damn...sorry to hear that Dale.
  7. Hmm that cage looks different than the burned one. Maybe it wasn't Dales.
  8. OH NO! That was Dale's Rhino? Man that sucks. Sorry to hear that.
  9. In my experience, I have noticed that it is always the mexicans who always speed through camp. :cheesebong: just kidding! :stir: It's the blacks & Puerto Ricans. KIDDING AGAIN! In all seriousness... It's the damn Filipinos. Ok I'll stop now. Yes, there IS the (rarely enforced) law at Dumont which states 15 mph anywhere near 50 feet of a camp, but I don't think there is enough education & signage for those less observant peeps. I think there should be more signs and it should be more blatantly posted that you will be cited for speeding & putting others in danger in the camp area. It all comes down to common sense though. There should be a citation for that. Talk about a whole new revenue source for Dumont! Ya can't fix stupid!
  10. Looks bitchen! Isn't it crazy how many stupid little things you have to figure out & make work along the way even with as simple as these machine are? That's the fun part though...making it your own "maCHEEN" , mang. lol
  11. it looks like you rolled it as soon as you hit the dirt at the end when it fell off... hahaa
  12. I saw this mofo cruisin the hood tonight in his new ride. It felt like old times seing RK behind the wheel rolling down the street. Glad you picked one up, Kenny. I think you are gonna love it. Congrats again.
  13. You guys are a-holes! I love it. Nope, it's just you.
  14. I'm dead a$$ serious though! WHAT? So it's twice as far...so friggen what. You have nohing but time on your hands anyways! haha
  15. Pat you are more than welcome to park with us this weekend...at Glamis.

  17. after installing the forks with new stem bearings after throwing in the new Lifan 110cc motor Cole's little Ava helped out matching hubs... where I stopped as of today More to come as I go....
  18. Dumont is a bit different than Glamis when it comes to places to park. It's just one big camp area. Just pull up and park wherever you feel comfortable. There are some small finger dunes you can park up against where many other usually park or you can go out far away from others the farther out you drive away from the dunes. Comp hill always has a crowd. The north pole is a place of interest since it is at the north tip of teh dunes. It's kind of a desitination to meet up after a dune ride. Dumont is much smaller than Glamis so it's no challange to get to if you are used to G. Other than those 2 main gathering spots, there aren't many other popular places. There's a memorial hill at the south end of the dunes that overlooks the camp area where people have placed crosses and memorials. There's also some old mines that people visit, but they aren't anywhere near the sand. Just go out there, park, and go duning/ exploring. The dunes aren't very hard to navigate through and it's pretty hard to get lost out there. Keep in mind there are boundaries on the outskirts of the dunes that are off limits so pay attention to closed route markers although there are few. Have fun
  19. Thanks guys. Kens Colors hooked the paint up. It looks sweet. Yea Justin, I am going to have to do some modding to mine as well, but it looks like it should be fairly simple. It just needs to be extended or lengthened a lil bit wider to clear the shifter.
  20. Some updated pics of my progress... My new Lifan 110cc motor, electric start, 4 speed painting the tank... tank after the base coat, before clear... painting the hubs. Looks like my tree is decorated with atc70 ornaments painted up and clear cloated blue parts... laying on the metallic silver to the frame and misc parts... painted up silver parts all parts painted up and sitting next to the heater for the next day or so to cure. Then on to some assembly tomorrow! As you can see, I have chosen to go with a Blue & silver theme...kind of a Yamaha color theme and it will also match the new rail
  21. old skool ride right there. :B Congrats Jon. I'm sure you'll have fun with it.
  22. Wow, nice work. The frame mods look great and also how the throttle cable goes inside the frame. How the heck did you get the pull start to work on that blaster motor?
