god damn people, hang the f*ck on! It takes time to work with all these pics when the camera is a 15.1 MP! :angry2: Kinda takes a while, to crop, resize, upload, etc etc.

DAMN! That sucks, Tyler. Yeah I saw your truck on our way out around 7:30 or so. It didn't look vandalized at that point so it must have been at night. Some people. :angry2: Sucks man. That happened to me once too in that soft chit. Comes up without any notice.

Great shots Tim! Did you have your camera set at AI focus? Not sure if you knew, but that helps focus with fast moving objects.

I had a great weekend out there. Those winds were pretty nasty at times and those dunes were super steep, soft, and unpredictable, BUT we still had a kickass time. We managed to squeeze in some killer runs in between the wind gusts. When I woke up just before sunrise on Saturday I got my camera ready for a sunrise pic, then relaized I left my memory card at home. 80grit hooked me up bigtime though. Thank again Rob. You are a life saver. I'll mail it back to ya. Saturday was windy all day. Just when you thought it was calming down a big gust would come up. It was cool though. Like I said, it calmed down just enough to get some runs in. Sunday turned out to be a great day. It was windy in the AM and just about everyone boned out of camp except for a few. We went on a group buggy ride and that's when Richie put it on it's lid. That sucked but could always have been way worse. Then like a trooper, he went back to camp, straightened his whip out and checked some stuff, and off he was again....until he broke a 2nd axle at comp doing a wheelie. Sunday afternoon we went on a very long mellow run. That was just what I needed after a weekend of getting sandblasted. It was virgin sand everwhere, the dunes were pretty easy to read that time of day, and everyone hung in line together. My car did great other than some very minor stuff. Raptor did good as usual and the hauler was somewhat cooperative. This trip was just what I needed though. I thought I was way daled in and ready for the season, but turns out I still have some stuff to get done. lol We didn't leave until about 6:30/ 7 o clock Sun night. :porn: some quick observations... -Joe Duners car is gorgeous -Tracy can dune the buggy pretty damn good -80grit is a day late with the sunscreen lol -Joel & Wes tested the rollover-ability of the Rhino -holy kickass carne burritos! Thanks again Reese & Tracy -sandseeker Brice won't give up when it comes to getting things fixed for his kids & the group. He'll go out of his way and then some to make sure everyone's ride makes it through the weekend. -Randog is still the craziest mofo I know. He now has fans at comp hill cheering him on. Will Randy slow down after having a kid? NOPE! lol -Donnie is now "Donnkey". Yee-HAWWW hahaaa -There are less razor tops out there thanks to the front end of my car. -Where's LEE? Ma facka has A.D.LEE. n'shiat There are many more but I don't remember them all right now. Killer weekend and great seeing the dune family. pics to come when I get time to go through them.

Fri AM update from Rob... Woke up this morning to just a light breeze. It was actually chilly this morning. Yesterday, Thursday, was awesome. We hooked up with Ken (mrbrownsand), Steve(vegastyle), and thier buddy Randy. And went for a bunch of rides on the quads. Ken lead some great runs. He can ride! Have to be really careful there are some nasty dropoffs that you just don't see comeing until your on top of them. My buddy, Lindy, came up on one and before he could hit the brakes, he was already airbourne. Lucky for him he landed on all four tires and stayed on the quad upon landing. He said the pucker factor meter was in the redline area while airbourne. Ha ha. The sand is super dry and soft. There is no tracks so depth perception is off too. Yesterday was just virgin sand. Every where we rode was just our tracks. Whoever makes it out. Really needs to be careful with the witchs eyes and dropoffs. They come out of nowhere Few more peeps came in last nite. Gonna have to take morning run and go visit. Lookin forward to seeing all the weekend people rolling in.

I doubt there will be that many. Just my thoughts What's all this fuss with old guys and the weather??? C'mon Pat! Let's go! I'll even go on some slower cruiser runs with ya in the buggy. I'm not prejudice against any dune rides. Give me a call tomorrow and I can give you a heads up where we'll be. Unless you only come out Friday. I wont be there till Fri night. Damn, are you even going for the SAND? Bringing a quad or anything or just like 500 beers, some plastic cups, and a ping pong ball? Nice! Yeah no kidding, Mike. Tomorrow night can't come quick enough. Can't wait to go on some runs with you and the new ride!

80grit just sent me this... Weather is perfect. Was a little windy last nite but nothing bad. Nite time temps were perfect for sleeping. There is only one other camper besides us here. Dunes are smooth with only tracks are ours. Lots of little witchs eyes. Gotta be careful for sure! Road in was kinda bad. But no big deal. Please excuse any typo's. This was sent from my iPhone while I was mobile.
