  4. We might have to do an early AM run to D in the very very near future.
  5. I know I am!!! I'll be the first to say it like usual...I'm SO ready for October! Yep, I have it bad and it's way early this year! Yeah yeah...it has it's good times like hitten the lake, chillen at the pool, and uhh... that's about it. woopity fuggin dooo! :hatdance: I'm sorry, but I have yet to find anything else in this world that even compares to clicking 5th gear and lookin for a 6th on the bike through the dunes. Or pickin killer buggy lines & hauling a$$ with the rest of the crew through the dunes so gad damn fast I start laughing. That chit gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. ...Or just chillen with friends around a camp fire with the sounds of rails, bikes, and generators going in the background while tossin back a . Luckily I'll get a small taste of it come August 8th and probably a Coral Trip before Oct, but nothing really compares to what Dumont has to offer. IS IT OCTOBER YET?
  6. yes, there will be lights. Undertow is bringing a set.
  7. budlight pajammmmmmmy jams Thanks Justin. Actually these were all taken hand held. I wished I had the tripod, but 50% of them came out pretty decent just holding the camera really still while laying on my side. Great pics Brian. Looks like a nice day at the lake.

  9. 3 (or more) day weekend :beer_bang:
  10. (info from homepage) It's about that time and the annual DDR summer night drags/ night ride trip to Dumont is almost here! It will be the night of Saturday August 8th, 2009. Show up whenever you'd like, but most people usually get there about 7/8 PM as the sun is going down. For years now, the members of DDR have picked a date in the middle of summer to head out to Dumont for a sand fix. It's always a great opportunity to take advantage of the smooth sand with some other duners around. We all know duning in packs is always safer. Banshee Hill is usually lit up with lights brought out by hill shooters and spectators. Some fast bikes always show up for some good racing. Everyone is invited to come out. Note: This is not in any way a sanctioned or organized event put on by any other group or association, but rather just a "run what you've brought" good time in the sand with some other sand junkies. Most duners will be parked and camping either around bathroom 6 or at Banshee Hill. So come on out and be part of this. If you have a question or would like to hook up with some other duners heading out, be sure to post up on the forum that you will be going. Have fun and be safe! http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=11748

  12. he was referring to the big Dodge me and Cole saw at the Hard Rock
  13. ....and then the bon fire/ fireworks party out at the dry lake bed. This fire was fuggin HUGE and there was a ton of bucks wrapped up in fireworks that these guys brought out on pallets. Good azz times. We and laughed are a$$es off all night. Some pics from that... nothing but the finest & most professional experienced pyrotechnicians :bert: (zoomed and cropped) :ah: This was so much fun. It was utter chaos :ah: , but was actually somewhat under control if that makes any sense. :mischevious:
  14. First, we did the Boulder City Veterans Memorial Park thing. We grabbed a blanket, a cooler, and some snacks and headed to meet some friends at the grass field for some entertainment and fireworks. Good times. Anna was every kids' best friend handing out sparklers. funnel cake...hell yiah! fireworks.. Then we hit up the dry lake bed for some amazing good times. More pics to come from that... :mischevious:
  15. yep, I think that's the one
  16. badass, Mark. Be sure to snap some pics while you're up there!
  17. It's not a good time to be famous. That's for sure.
  18. Funny you say that because last trip out at D for the night drags I pulled the air filter cover off to check it out and BOOM! It about singed my eye brows off. Lemme tell you...that chit wakes you up real quick! :ah: Anyways, I just got back in from checking it out. I'm not 100% sure I fixed it yet, but I pulled the carb off, removed the float bowl and cleaned out the mixture control solenoid on the bottom of the bowl. It seemed to be a bit sticky so we'll see if it is cleared up when I go out the next few days and fire it up to see how it runs. It popped a few lil farts when I started it just now, but no flame thrower like last time. It's always chugged a little bit right after startup so I think it's fixed now.
  19. Someone should make a batmobile sandcar theme. I've seen spiderman, shrek, speed racer, and all kinds of other stuff, but no batman or batmobile theme yet. lol
  20. Awesome night! Chinaman rocks. He is hilarious. Thanks again Cole. Stay in touch with Mark and let's show him Dumont when October rolls around.
  21. yikes. crazy sh*t. Especially that one where all those peeps are falling off that mog looking truck. This should be in Coles Corner.
  22. I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - x2 Eric, bring it down to Hend Chevy and ask for Bert (sanddunessaddict) to take care of it. He is the Dmax maintenance king.
  23. Thanks guys. Lee, it's not that I really need help diagnosing the problem as I am sure it is just gummed up like you say. It is running rich and loads up and backfires through the intake making for a real nice flame. You can see the fuel splatter up out of the jet in an unmetered way if that makes any sense. lol I just didn't want to tear into the carb without being able to have parts available. I talked with Brice today and I think I should have it handled. A similar issue happened with his. I'm just gonna be very careful pulling the float bowl off and clean out that sensor/ solenoid fuggin thing on the bottom that helps meter the fuel. Brice has his old carb that I might be able to use for spare parts. I'll keep you all posted on what I find. How exciting huh?
