  1. Might be some plastic shavings in the line somewhere too. I heard that new haulers sometimes get that. Can you get to the water line and pull it off from where it connects to the supply?
  2. I don't think so. He called me asking what all those buttons were for before he went out Saturday. lol I told him about the #2 setting for panning.
  3. Pretty cool. Yeah, I've heard of that guy before. $10 a photo huh?
  4. Cole, I think we can make it but I haven't said so yet because I'm not 100% sure. Will let ya know this week mang.
  5. ATV's street legal in NV? It will never happen.
  6. Panning shots with a good motion blur in the background is pretty tricky. You did great on that second one, Pete. I'd lighten up the 1st one just a tad. Good job though! How did you like that lens? Lee, he has a 30D and rented a 70-200mm L f/4 lens
  7. That's pretty cool. Looks like a fun time. So what is the 1st photo of that he is pointing to? Looks like something on fire.

    FYI

Fingerhut? Is that like pizzahut but a porn site? Never heard of it. That sucks Nick, but at least they are taking care of it for ya.
  9. ^ hahaaaaaaa sweet! The mog is famous.
  10. Well we were just there is what made them mad I guess. The dam is closed off to pedestrians at night and there's nowhere to park (legally). So we pulled off the side of the road kinda in between some cones at an employee parking exit road. He said we were also impeding traffic. Whateva! :flatbiller: I had jumped out and crossed the street to set up my tripod in some "authorized vehicles only" lot.
  11. ok good enough guys. Lets vote. We are running behind this month so lets pick a winner.
  12. Nope One of these days when I get a better tripod and a larger aperature lense, I will be able to get even better night shots than these. These pics were only taken with my "cheap" f/3.5 lens and p.o.s. tripod. I wanted to get my f/2.8 mounted up, but the cops came rolling up with their flashing lights on. They were all pissed off and stuff. :rant_on:
  13. Last night I was able to get some shots of the Hoover Dam Bypass....barely. We got hassled by the cops for a list of laws we broke on Federal property, etc etc. "Yes sir, sorry sir, blah blah blah" Anyways, I hadn't seen it in a while and was amazed. I think it's crazy the engineering that goes into projects like these. The arch is almost connected and is a trip to see all that weight just hang there by cables WAY the hell up there. Also found this link with a web cam of the bypass. Takes a few seconds to load. http://live8.truelook.com/face/sqface.jsp?...overlay=default
  14. Great pics and videos Cole! Looks like a tough job, but someone had to do it. lol
  15. I know the feeling Jill. After 5 days at Little Shara, it sucked BAD to go to work the next day. Going from vacation mode to work mode takes a while. At least you guys will have a couple days to unwind.
  16. nope, didn't even click the link. Shhhiat....I was drinking a beer when I read this thread. I know my beer very well thank you very much. LOL .We meet up a couple times a week plus just about every weekend for some good times. We're tight.
  17. You guys are true die hards. 147 huh!?
  18. I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - x2
  19. Effen Lee. Always way into it. Those are the external shock reservoirs (like Jodi said).
  20. He's in Tucson. Maybe they don't have internet there.
  21. mineurbiz, I think something is wrong with your camera Here's mine. "Charlie tearin it up at Little Sahara"
  22. Mike sent this at about noon today. "it is getting a bit warm out here."
  23. yeah sounds fair to me too considering the complete turbo setup on that motor costs well over 3-4K alone.
