  1. Who makes those Rocky's? I've seen them but I'm not too familiar w/ em.
  2. I think the front cap on my hauler is plastic. or is that fiberglASS
  3. I have a feeling on the freeway that would fly off after an hour...or a minute. You're probably right. That would be a good start. Cool, I'll have to try that stuff out. Thanks
  4. I'm sure most of you have to deal with those damn bugs you accumulate on the front of your rigs when on road trips. So are there any tips? Ya know..just like when you go 4 wheelin...spray WD40 on parts of your truck or quad so the mud cleans off easier. Is there something like that for haulers? I can't stand srubbing that nasty chit off the front after a trip.
  5. ^ Thanks guys. My new photo site won't take up much time at all other than just updating a little text info on the homepage from time to time. The hard part is over. What's cool is the way I set it up...I can publish/ upload pictures right from my folders in my computer without having to even go on the net or log in to my site. I built the site basically to have a "portfolio" and easy way to share my "best of" and event photos.
  6. Thanks Steve. Thank you and good stuff you got there. As for Vegas, I completely agree. When I got my camera I went ape chit with the night photos. This town is so lit up at night. It's awesome.
  7. Hey whats up Tom! Yeah we'll be gettin busy down there this summer for sure. It might not be until late June or early July...but we'll definitley be there. We'll hit you guys up soon, bud. p.s. I'm changing your damn screen name right now. You aren't teresa damnit!
  8. alright...lemme rephrase then! 99.9% of all your posts!!!!
  9. I gotta see that movie. Jim Carey has always been one of my favorite comedians/ actors. :ah: Doesn't that give you a crash? :ah: Nope!!!!!!!!!!!...badababadaaaa....nope no crash!!!!!!!! what's wrong? :worthless_without_pics:
  10. Thanks Lisa! Thank you! ...and ok If you want some pics shot they I'm down anytime I can afford to go out. Just ask. I'd do it just for the experience and fun of it. That goes for just about anyone on here. I work for beer at this point.
  11. Since I got into photography, I've been diggen it quite a bit. It's alot more fun than I ever imagined it could be. I'm glad too because I dropped a lot of cashola on camrea equipment over the last few months. I'm still learning but that is the fun part. So I recently put together a website to display some of my latest and best work. I'll be updating it after every time I go out shooting. It's already paid off too because I was able to use my site as leverage for some supermoto media credentials! Who woulda thunk it? Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.actionshutter.net/ I've already told a handful of friends but felt I'd share it with everyone on here. BTW, I guess now's as good of a time as any to post my favorite pic to date that I have taken. (it's on the homepage of actionshutter.net) ^ That's no photoshop either.
  12. You can't SEE swine flu jagazz! I bet you didn't see any HIV or HPV either while you were down there huh?
  13. yo, welcome to the site Ocotillo Boy.
  14. Whoa, these programs cost something??? And yes, I view the sharpened preview at 100% to see the detail in the pic. They can get real grainy if sharpened too much. That would be badass if I had a butler, but instead of umbrellas in drinks he'd just bring me my beers in chilled mugs while I'm working on photos. yiah Is there a download for that for CS3?
  15. Exactly my thoughts Jackster. lol Yo jr1208, are you just trying to get your post count up or what? TAKE A BREAK, JR!
  16. Whether it happened or not, I laughed. Good one Lee.
  17. For sharpening I use Photoshop CS3 and use the Smart Sharpen option. I usually go anywhere from 75-125% with the default radius of 1. That usually gets the job done.
  18. Lee, you have official just ruined this thread. Holy crap. j/k
  19. I think you U R 2in2it. I think once you have stared at a pic long enough you start to over-analyze it and start messing with how something is supposed to look like. I do the same thing. I get something super sharp and get the shadows light enough to see every detail, but then when I come back to it later and quickly glance at it I go "ewww, wtf did I do that that pic?" lol If you are concentrating on Jerry's door, yes 3 looks the clearest, but we aren't looking at just the door. That door is in a shadow and when you look at the pic as a whole it is too bright, IMO. It almost looks too saturated too. For some reason when I look at #3 that door jumps out at me and doesn't look right. Those tires almost look blue to me.
  20. Really? Riding is riding to me no matter what the place. You'd like it...trust me.
  21. I got a job....just no work once I get there!
  22. That's one fart smellow smart fellow right there! Good idea, Lee. I can just see you now fixating on that temp gauge and then looking over at your radiator super soaker button and letten her rip. :bert:
