  1. EWWWWWWW....sweaty summertime Fed Ex trucker swamp azz with a side of a leaky check valve. GRRRRRRRRROSS! Now that summer is here....happens more often????????? WTF is wrong with you!??? yep, summer's here.
  2. 2nd one looks best to me. The 3rd one seems a bit too bright in the darker areas...like too much shadow highlighting. I find that when I go too much it makes things like tires look too gray instead of black (how they really look). I think it's ok to have some areas kinda dark as long as the main subject is bright and clear. There's really no reason we need to be able to see inside Jerry's wheel wells that good. Besides, the darker areas look a bit grainy when lightened up that much.
  3. ok I was gonna hold back but I can't. Does anyone know what SWINE stands for? Some Wetback Infected Nearly Everyone Sorry my mexi-friends...it's only a joke and no I'm not racist. I still love ya.
  4. I work next to a guy that chit his pants once. His check valve wasn't 100% that day.
  5. Haven't you ever been out to Apex/ Nellis "dunes"?
  6. Well sorry guys. Looks like we are out for this one. Anna & I just have too much else going on right now and have to get ready for some upcoming vacation trips.
  7. hahaaaa ok. In that case then......eff yo Dodge ma facka!
  8. ^ yep, me too Lots of brand new models always have recalls out when they hit the showroom floor.
  9. oh yeah and more thing I just remembered.... Here's a list of people who have towed a 19-23 ft trailer with a half ton..... -me -racnjasen -sand~snake -pauly paul -kens colors -Mike (Nicole in Vegas' husband) ...and out of those people ever single person upgraded to a 3/4 or 1 ton truck within a year or 2 of towing with a half ton. I'm not trying to be an azz or talk chit about your truck eli, I just want to make you aware of what to expect. Your gonna start looking at bigger trucks if you go bigger on your trailer.
  10. Well I personally think that you won't like it unless you only plan on towing somewhat short distances. I've towed 9-10,000 pounds with a half ton truck for over a year and a half and it gets real old after a while. I think anything over a 19' toyhauler is gonna work a half ton pretty good. I'm not saying you can't do it. I'm just saying you are working your truck to the max (motor, brakes, suspension) and it also becomes very draining and tiresome (mentally) on yourself to tow like that. Trust me I held off as long as I possibly could before upgrading to a bigger truck that was gonna put a big azz dent in my wallet and bank account. It sucked, but it is SO worth it now. Good luck, eli.
  11. I think these "tow ratings" on newer trucks don't take into acount the fact of trailer size. That Titan might be able to tow a heavy construction flatbed trailer with a Bobcat on it just fine, but take the same weight toyhauler that is really big and tall and it affects the truck in a whole different manner. Sounds like too much for a Titan or an Armada to me. It may be able to pull it just fine (powerwise), but what about being able to TOW it and stop it safely? I'm not talking about perfect weather conditions down a straight road either. I'm talking about real-life chit that happens when on the road. I have encountered quite a bit of chit on the road and would have been effed if I was over size on the trailer or under size on the truck. :ah: I say if you have to ask if your truck is gonna be ok, then it isn't. Just my 2 cents.
  12. I tried eariler and it said "sorry you've already made too many black people/ fried chicken jokes in your lifetime so no free chicken fo you, ma facka".
  13. Anyone else ever check out the supermoto races? They're gonna be here in Vegas at the South Point at the end of this month. (fri-sun/ May 29-31) It will be my first time checking em out in person and to make it even better...I got approved for media credentials! I hope to get some cool photos. http://www.xtrm.com/supermoto/index.htm
  14. oh come on...it's not gonna be that bad. http://weather.yahoo.com/Logandale-Nevada-...2/forecast.html It will be a little warm, but not really hot. What's wrong with you guys? You need absolute perfect conditions to ride or what? l

  16. yeah probably the Rhino I suppose, Pat.
  17. Ghost fence? :?: I've never heard of it, but at the same time I have only been to Gosa 1 time. I'm not very superstitious, but it sounds like something a bunch of newbie duners came up with. Nor does it sound like what Mike's buddy, Curtis described to me. From the sounds of it, Mike was going down a big dune and not along a trail when he had his unfortunate accident. So I doubt it is the same spot these people are talking about. Back on the subject of me not being superstitious... I don't mean to come off like some tool, but come on. If you are riding along and all of a sudden "wham out of no where you over the bars and a face full of sand"??? That usually means one thing....you are riding above your limits. As many of the guys I ride with know, I love riding fast. BUT...at the same time I never ride faster than I can judge the terrain ahead of me. I usually only push it real hard in areas I know well and even then, I only go as fast as I can see ahead of me in order to stop in time if something comes up. Good judgement is everything in riding. It's hard, but you just have to know when to slow down sometimes. Stories like Mike's will hoepfully only be a reminder to everyone to be EXTRA careful every time out. It's a dangerous sport but we can always play it safe. BTW, here's the original topic on this accident http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...showtopic=11552
  18. Either one would be fun, Pat. There are some technical rocky areas, but there are also a ton of trails and open sandy areas.
  19. well if it happens at Dumont...it's right here.
  20. ok, here's more (nothing real special though)
  21. couple more favorites... hunting Stewart down...
  22. :smoker: yeah but just like Vegas Style said last weekend on our bitter springs ride.... you could post gps coordinates, pictures of a new incredible place to ride, date, time, free beer, etc etc and you MIGHT get 1 or 2 peeps to show if you're lucky. See where I'm going with this? Good luck! Peeps are lazy these days! I got some chit to do that day but I'm keeping it in mind and would love to go. I'll let ya know. Who else is in so far, Cole?
