  1. Same place as last time! Talk to Randy, I think him and a handful of the group will be there sometime Thursday as well. I can't leave till Friday and won't get in until sometime Fri night.
  2. Oh no. So sad, thats aweful Rest in peace, fellow rider
  3. fuggin cheese......DUMBAZZZZZZZZZ! They are right. The black lights up top are already HIDs, the smaller lower mounted ones I want to keep halogen.
  4. I don't even know about the 6V/ 12V thing. I just saw this at Checker (Kragens) when I was buying a new rocker switch for the headlightt. Wasn't even sure if it would work. I wired it up and walla! SWEET!
  5. ...already did that with the top screen as well...covered it as well. And yes, I already found that out with the eyecup and nose in the screen. I kept trying to pull that thing out farther. Seems like it should slide out some.
  6. Hey Lee. Read post #54. I think you may have missed it. Anyways, I already got some screen protectors that seem pretty decent. That was one of the first things I did was put those on those brand new screens. As for the card, I got the Extreme III SanDisk 8 GB. It is the 30MB/s/ 200x. I think it was like 70 bucks on sale. They are normally like $120.00.
  7. In light of all the Honda 70CC talk and so many DDR peeps picking these things up lately...we now have a 70CC forum.
  8. YAYAHHH! I also put on a new headlight switch. It works both lights too. I'm all set for camp night riding now. Just need an OHV sticker and whip mount and I am completely legal!
  9. oh ok sounded you were gonna be solo even in your camp. Sounds good then.
  10. Not for a week, but I'll see about a weekend around then.
  11. yikes thats not good Hope he recovers ok and back to 100%!
  12. yep thats where I get all mine, well Lowes but same thing. I don't want HIDs where these are mounted. These are mounted low on the front of my car and I only use them for entering and leaving camp or where there alot of people so I don't blind everyone w/ the HID's like alot of poopd*cks do. I like how they fire right up too since they are Halogens.
  13. You should just suck it up and park with us, old man! haha ohhhkaaay You KNOW there won't be either of those 2 things in my hauler. :gayboy: But cold beer...absolutley! You know where we'll be.
  14. hahaaaaa hellz yeah Eric! No more 007 smoke screen and oil in my lungs! This trip is gonna rock just cause that alone!
  15. yeah I know about those. They are the same pieces of crap that I have and are no good for offroading use. Those things are for landscaping! I'll probably have to order a bunch up. dammit lol
  16. Hmmm...yeah I'm looking at the weather report too and it looks iffy. It might be kinda chilly and may even rain! Then the thought of wet sand sticking to the bottoms of my shoes and getting on the steps of my hauler is a huge problem. That's just too icky and methy. In no way would that be a thuper time. Then, what if the beer stays too cold in the cooler? My hand might get too cold and I'll have to wear gloves to drink it. Then, the thought of sand sticking to my rail just horrifies me. I'd have to clean it just like after every trip. I'm gonna have to bring a tarp to cover my seats too if they stand a chance of getting wet. Because we all know how things don't dry out in the sun. Just think, the water might absolutley ruin my tires too. And to think how many cool peeps are going out too. I wouldn't wanna be caught dead hanging out with them under an awning in the rain tossing back cold ones and laughing about stupid chit. That just sounds like a horrible weekend waiting to happen. I'm staying home. :gayboy: yeah fuggin right! I'm stoked bitchezz! I'm lookin forward to this weekend whether there's good weather or not. Any day at the dunes is good in my book. Sunshine, rain, snow, hail...whatever! Let's dune.
  17. These things are complete crap. The wires are only held in by a little spring. I tried soldering the wires right to the bulb pins, but that didn't work. SOMEONE'S gotta make a better connector/ socket for MR16 bulbs than these cheap ceramic turds. :poop: I know wingnut had this same problem a while back. Mine's fine for now. I just stripped off more insulation and shoved that wire in there farther , but not sure how long it will last this time. These are on my buggy, but they are the same as the Trail Tech lights for bikes.
  18. well it's paid for so no worries there. I got a smokin deal.
  19. This is how the rule is worded. "If you are not a resident of California and your OHV is not registered in your home state, you are required to have a California "Nonresident" OHV permit to legally operate your vehicle." so... If your vehicle (Ranger) is registered in Utah then you do NOT need an OHV out of state permit.
  20. SD30? How old is that thing? My last Canon SD (Powershot) was the SD1100. It took awesome pics, but the lense mechanism broke about 4 times either because the sand or from the bouncing around in my pocket I guess. That's why I bought the Oympus shockproof/ waterproof/ drunkproof camera. It is super durable mostly because it has a fixed lense. (no moving parts) It's just time to step it up so I can get some great pics with a good quality camera like this one. I have always been into photography but never really had the camera for it. Not anymore. I'm stoked. I wanna go snap pics of all kinds of chit right now. :hatdance:
  21. Thanks guys! I am like a kid on Christmas right now. I've been sitting here messing around with it since I got home checking out all the functions and stuff. OGP, that was the protective cover it came in! Bert, no it doesn't do video. It only takes badass pics. lol Vegas Style, I have 177 gigs left on my pc. I should be good for a while (thanks to b370) Rob, thanks for all the help. I listened to everything you had to say and already got the backpack, UV filter, clear bra'd the screen, etc.
  22. WOO HOO! WELL, I GOT IT!!!! I'm super stoked! Got a killer deal on this bad boy today. Just got home with it. It's the Canon EOS 50D with the 28-135 lense...just what I wanted! It's baaaaadass! I'm so damn nervous though. This thing is way too nice to be in my hands. :clown: Rule #1: I'm not even gonna touch this thing if I've been drinking. I'm going out right now to check out and maybe pick up a memory card, screen protector, UV filter/ lense protector for it before I even use it. Here's some pics of the camera.
  23. I doubt there are any kia rio owners on here that would know. Check and see if the engine codes match. Maybe call the Kia dealer parts dept and have them look up each year car and see if the motors are different.
