  1. Damn! Sweet ride. Congrats Nick. That's a much nicer ride than what I had at your age. lol
  2. Stock Chevy's can already handle anything thrown at em so there's really no need for a model like this. Here comes the pic of my truck stuck right?.... Seriously though, have have put my trucks through some chit in the past and they have held up suprisingly well. Ask Steveo and Tommy down the street. lol
  3. Finally got my stuff today! It was like an early Christmas present to myself. About 300 bucks later I've got a new high output stator, HD rectifier and new custom harness with all new connectors! I got it all on the car tonight and everything worked great. I turned every single load device on at idle like the fans and all the lights. The red charge light only came on for a second, then went off and the new stator was able to handle it at idle. Nice I'll see how it holds up next trip out. I'm stoked. I should have repainted the cover but oh well eh. Now I just gotta clean this mess up a and wash this badboy. It's filthy from poker run weekend.
  4. alright Brandon. Can we all just let this die?
  5. :ah: Oh god are you kidding me? She'll even admit that's a BAD idea. hahaaa It's not the grilling I can't handle, it's everything before and after that I eff up. Grill maintenance and transportation is NOT my thing evidentally.
  6. haha, it was lunchtime when I got a text from monkie about it. I was coming home for lunch, flipped on the TV, and posted it up. DDR has been known to post up news before the news stations. "keeping you connected with anything that is happening." :laughing" sad
  7. Damn...yet another BBQ grill story. Son of a b*tch!!! I forgot about that one. hahaaaa, I guess so. derrrrrrr :clown: That be the one! Damn it though- the pics are gone.
  8. yep, and remember my story about the grill falling out of the back of my truck on the freeway coming back from the speedway? I need to bump that thread back up.
  9. I actually got a kick out of that... ........right before I suspended his account.
  10. Anyone hear about this chit? :ah: Pilot was able to eject. Not sure if anyone on the ground is hurt yet. At least 2 or 3 homes destroyed. Hope everyone is ok! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7772344.stm I already checked with bp-guy and he's ok. Not sure about anyone else from DDR who's from San Diego. I know ltr450 is from near there too.
  11. Hell no. There's only one truck with dat chit yo! :B I saw one of these at tech downtown on Fri night for the BITD race. It looked pretty cool, but I would question some things on it as far as long term abuse and durability. These trucks these days are being made more and more out of tupperware.
  12. How was it, Ian? Still an A/ B+ ? It was nice leaving T-day weekend.
  13. I wonder if he "calculated" on landing that hard on the right side. You wouldn't catch me riding passenger in that car. Yikes. It looked like a pretty unsafe move to me, however it was cool as hell to watch!
  14. So how was the sand? Looks like it dried out quite a bit from last weekend. That chit was rough then.
  15. Oh good God Dan get real. Half these jokes you would here from black people themselves. Ever watch the Chappelle show??? It's just comedy. And there's a big difference between friendly chit talk and hateful posts posted by someone who only comes on here to cause trouble. I would think you would know the difference being a not-so-SENSITIVE person. What's with the comments here and there like these lately? Did I or one of the other moderators come down on you for some bullsh*t recently or what? What is with everyone's unnecessary drama lately?
  16. I double checked on it for ya. General Description... A crankcase ventilation system is used to provide scavenging of the crankcase vapors. Blow-by gases are passed through a crankcase ventilation oil/air separator into the air cleaner outlet resonator. The oil/air separator is inside the valve rocker arm cover and allows any scavenged oil to be returned to the crankcase. Operation... The only flow through the oil/air separator is the combustion blow-by, as there is no fresh air inlet to the crankcase. The primary flow of blow-by into the separator is through the openings inside the valve rocker arm cover. The oil/air separator causes oil, which may be suspended in the blow-by gases, to be separated and drain back to the crankcase. The blow-by gases are then drawn into the air cleaner outlet resonator by normal engine vacuum and burned in the combustion process.
  17. Sounds awesome Ian...just how dune trips should be- nice and chill. Glad you were able to get a great weekend in.
  18. Ya know now that I think of it, the newer 2.2's no longer have a PCV valve. Yours is probably just a fixed orifice port inside a metal fitting that is on the valve cover. It's not serviceable.
  19. You mean 2.2L? It's in the valve cover, but you should be able to remove the plastic ring that holds it in and pull the PCV out.
  20. Are you really serious? BAD idea dude.
  21. ok guys, I think we all get it. Let it be over with.
  22. let you know what? Don't worry about it...it's not your fault Nick!
  23. Why? You didn't do it. Key is free and I might have an extra fob laying around at work. Just gotta reprog it.
