  1. You didn't see Terry there because he didn't go. He never planned on it because he couldn't make it this year. And I hear ya on the social gathering thing. That's one of the reasons I love the SSSS the most. You get to meet up and say hi to so many people that are there from the industry/ sport as vendors. :black: And screw you- I wanted to go but couldn't make it this year!
  2. Spanish isn't as funny though. You either get it or ya don't. Sorry for having a good time. :clown: Next time we will try and be as proper as possible for you guys. :black: BTW.....a sticky glossary? Eww. Who would have a good time with a GLOSSARY to make it sticky? "Oh yeah, let's look up another word...yeah...yeah" j/k Mark. :black: I knew what you meant.
  3. .....so....I'm not sure......do you like it? J/K :black:
  4. SO.....for picking me up that badazz SSSS t-shirt and mailing it out to me, here is the least I can do to repay you. :black: It's now on the clickable list under "show all". It's called "" You know it fool.
  5. I just read this on GD. I'm not much of a Blink 182 fan, but Travis Barker is also the drummer of one of my favorite bands, The Transplants. I hope he is ok. I'm not quite sure the extent of his injuries. It only says critical condition. :praying: RIP to those who lost their lives. Very sad. WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Hours after performing for thousands of South Carolina college students, former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and celebrity DJ AM were critically injured in a fiery Learjet crash that killed four people, authorities said Saturday. Officials said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames, said Debbie Hersman, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board. Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia, hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said. Two other passengers — Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles — died, as did pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, according to the county coroner. Baker was an assistant to Barker and Still was a security guard for the musician. The plane was headed for Van Nuys, Calif. It is owned by Global Exec Aviation, a California-based charter company, and was certified to operate last year, Hersman said. The company said it had no immediate comment. At the crash site Saturday, the air was still heavy with the odor of jet fuel. A trail of black soot led off a runway. The nose of the aircraft was gone and the roof was missing from two-thirds of the charred plane. "It's absolutely terrible and tragic," Columbia Mayor Bob Coble said. Barker and Goldstein had performed together under the name TRVSDJ-AM at a free concert in Columbia on Friday night. Event sponsor T-Mobile said their hourlong set ended at about 7:15 p.m. The show, which included performances by former Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell and singer Gavin DeGraw, drew 10,000 people into the streets of Five Points, the neighborhood near the University of South Carolina, Coble said. Peter Kastis, Farrell's manager, said he and Farrell didn't find out about the crash until they arrived at the airport Saturday morning to find it closed. "I just hugged them hello less than 24 hours ago. I wish I could hug them now," Kastis said.
  6. Check it. Got this is the mail yesterday from Randog. Thanks again bro. I'm such a jackass though. I still can't believe that I didn't realize it was you and your car on the shirt. Friggin duh! That's da sh*t man! YIAH YIAH. Randog's a celeb yo. :mb: :black: Congrats I'm still real bummed we couldn't make it down to the show this year. We've got just too much going on lately. :black: You guys all have fun down there and take some pics of some cool chit. :mb:
  7. You're not the only one who didn't get that. :black: You'll have to excuse indasand- he is a 99% drunk poster. :beerbong: lol BTW I love old duning pics. It's always cool meeting duners that have been into it so long. Keep the old dune pics flowing.
  8. I think the vendors who sell the passes WILL have annual passes for sale. I think the BLM just meant that the fee machines and BLM won't be selling the annuals on site. It doesn't make much sense though. They sell the passes at vendor row.....AFTER the spot where they check passes going in at the entrance. Maybe they won't be checking them going in and will be doing more camp to camp checks from now on.
  9. Just gotta clean the air filters and change the oil on the rail and maybe the dirtbike and I'm READY!!!! YIAH!!
  10. :ah: Dayum Gerald. That could have been WAY worse. He was VERY lucky to be wearing a helmet. Geesh. Anyways, I'm glad he is doing better. I'd like to come pay him a visit this weekend sometime. I have quite a bit going on, but I'm sure I can squeeze it in/ I'll give you a call. Hey should we plan a DDR group visiting hour? Physical therapy is used after the healing process. I'm sure that isn't even a concern at this point. It sounds like they are mostly concerned with the hand healing correctly right now.
  11. Hey whatup Aaron. Best of luck to you guys that race. Wish I could make it.
  12. Cool, see ya there Dave. (BTW, all the beer smilies are still there, ya just gotta click show all )
  13. ok lets do this. Please limit posts in this thread to picture entries only. Thanks. The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well. Post a subtitle or description that you may want included on the homepage with your pic if yours wins. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. Let's just try and be honest about it. (We aren't gonna get that serious about this anyways) 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. The picture must abide by the terms and conditions (rules) of this board. 5. Post only ONE picture per contest. The picture can be anything DUNE related. It can be a nice sunset, a wheeling sandrail, your favorite still shot of your bike, rail, truck, camp, friends, rv, etc. As long as it has to do with the dunes, let's see it.

  19. Well yes, but I thought I'd post up the link as it is an additional option. BLM is still pretty much the best way to get it. Just be prepared to have to go to the post office to pick it up if you aren't home when the certified mail comes.

  21. Quite a few late 04 and early 05 LLY models had overheating issues. GM still never said what it was. I think it was a casting flaw in the block but whateva. That chits history now. We don't get em in the shop anymore. Maybe they all melted down on the side of the road! :ah: Mid 05 and on LLY's didn't have any issues, especially 06's.
