Brice (sandseeker) called me and brought this to my attention today. I think iot is a GREAT idea and hopefully something FoDD can take advantage of for Dumont. I'd apply for it for DDR but we aren't a 501c3. I think it's great that these companies that are a huge part of our sport have stepped up like this. Unlike SOME companies (HONDA) supporting the Sierra Club who are completely against our sport/ hobby/ lifestyle. Not sure how the night drags thread got turned into talking about rides in my car, but ok. Nick I don't care who rides in the passenger seat. Usually Anna is always rolling with me so I don't even ask anyone else since there isn't a seat available. If the seat is empty, let's go! You could have jumped in the other morning, but Chris (deulordie) and I already planned on cruising over to check that truck out and he was off grabbing his camera first. If he wasn't already going with me....hell I wouldn't have given 2 chits if you just jumped in without asking. If you ever see the seat open, please don't hesitate to ask. I don't even think of asking sometimes cause I am just anxious to go dune now now now.

Not always will it be the cheapest though. Yes discounts apply, but if their rates are way more than other companies to begin with, it doesn't really matter how much the discount is. It's the premium that matters first.

ok here goes my Sounds like good times, however I have been trying to get something like that going for about 2-3 years now. Lemme just tell ya something...it doesn't work. In the middle of the season everyone has such different schedules. You might get a small handful of DDR peeps together, but trying to get a big......yeah I'm gonna say it.....DDR CAMP together for just one weekend out of the season is almost impossible sometimes. I'd definitely be there and love the idea of everyone from the board finally getting together for one big DDR weekend together and camping together, but I'm over trying to make it happen. Pick a date and I'm there though. I really think we should just leave that for the night drags like it was this last trip though. It seems to work out great. We (DDR.com members), are pretty much the only ones out there in August so it makes it easy to spot other DDR peeps. They are the only fuggin lunatics out there that time of year! It is cool though to know you can just pull up and park w/ who ever it is because it's DDR peeps! mutha bitchezzzz

Well I don't have a crazy X story. Luckily mine just up & split and I never saw her ever EVER again. I took it pretty hard at the time, but it only made me that much stronger of a person. Ends up it was the best damn thing that ever happened to me. Without her bailing out of my life, I probably would have never met the coolest damn woman in the world....Anna monkie. I'm SO glad it worked out that way.

I have ANPAC (American Naitional) for the house. Floyd White is my agent. 731-1024 They are very reasonabale rates and good cust svc. Don't think that you will save money by combining all vehciles, home etc through one company. That's not always the cheapest and best route to go...at least w/ my situation it wasn't. As far as vehicles, I insure everything I have (trucks, vehicles, sandrail, trailer, etc) through Allstate and have never had any major rate increases or problems. I have been extremely statisfied with thier cust svc as well. I have had a handful of claims and always have been treated very fairly....except one time when some w/ no insurance whacked my old truck.

Yeah I hear ya. I thought it was a pretty good turnout considering the economy, but your right- there weren't that many fast bikes or drag guys there. Regardless I had a great time. Anytime at Dumont is fun for me. Lauching off that start berm was pretty fun. I felt I had to step up the excitement level somewhat. Since I wasn't drinking, I started gettin antsy (and almost bored) and had to start making some hot laps.

It should be nice with a full moon. Just be careful out there. Those dunes are crazy right now. Take some pics of that thing in the sand! Those are some good looking cars. Painter Joe has an extreme and it is gorgeous as well. I followed behind him at Glamis and they work great too. I'd love too, but you know how much we have going on this weekend.

:shout: Some good news! Diesel is getting back down closer to $4/ gallon. It has dropped over 20 cents a gallon over the last month here in Henderson. Remeber the 5 page thread where there seemed like there was no end in site with the rise in prices? The thread started when I was bitching about 3.99/ gallon.
