  1. Its looking like there's a really good chance we'll be stopping by Little Sahara this weekend. My car should be done and ready to pick up on Saturday. So....this weekend we're just gonna play it by ear and prolly hit it up on the way back and do a day or two in LS. New dune territory is always an exciting experience for me. I can't wait to check it out!
  2. I'm confused. Where the hell are you guys actually going this weekend?
  3. Is there an echo in here? That's what I'm talking about, Yosh. exactly I was just lettin the guy (QUAD STAR 238) know my input because I wouldn't want to see someone dump a chitload of their hard earned omney into something expecting alot and ending up gettin China garbage quality in the end.
  4. Thanks. You know it. It's lookin like a 90% chance we'll be headin up to UT Sat am EARLY. So we might hit up LS on the way back that afternoon. I wonder if you get signal there? I'll try and call ya.
  5. Cole once you fix that eyeball talk to Nick about helping him fix his. :breakdance:
  6. BIG difference when you are talking sandrails and quads there, lad. Besides, I don't think any of those are built in China. I think it's Japan? I'm pretty sure Japanese techonology/ engineering is far more advanced than China. Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Honda have been engineering and building ATVs for many MANY years. Go ahead and buy a China built rail/ UTV/ whatever you wanna call these p.o.s's and see how long it lasts. Thats if it you are still having fun with it after a week.
  7. China built I'd stay American if I were you.
  8. HELL yeah! We'll have to post up extra early this year for the SSSS and to get a good DDR crew together down there. Last year was a blast! yiah yiah
  9. I'm not too sure about fresh water fillup. As for a 40 footer, that is gonna be really tight in the campground. You might want to camp at the meadow. I think they only have a few spots that can accomodate large haulers from what I've been told. Try calling the ranger's station up there. I'm sure they can tell you.
  10. Right on Woods. That would have been some good times. Wish I could have made it, especially to Randogs. :black: Hey that "black and green" looks pretty cool on that last Teryx!
  11. Cramming at the dunes? huh? Anyways...congrats.
  12. So how was it, guys? Where's the pics? :black:
  13. Man it was pretty hot today. It's like someone flicked a switch. :black: I think it was up to like 111 degrees here in Hendo. Kinda wierd though- forcast says its gonna drop like 20 degrees later this week.
  14. Very clever! But is that thing ever gonna see any sand? Let's see some action pics! :stir:
  15. I like camping in the meadow (aka dry lake) area. I have never been a big fan of the campground. You should be fine as far as finging a spot for 2 rigs. Just some things to keep in mind: BLM there are very strict on... -underage drinkers -no whips -no sticker/ registration -riding in closed areas ...and they kinda frown on noisey camps after 10 PM.
  16. Holy crap! 40 YEARS OLD!??? Happy birthday, Jim on the big FOUR OH! I thought all those bacon cheeseburgers, cigarettes, and alcohol would have killed you by now. :stir: Now, lets get our drink on tonight to celebrate. :drunk2:
  17. The CA OHV sticker IS accepted and honored in Utah. Doubles are allowed at Coral. Helmets are not required , EXCEPT for kids. Kids must wear one. Kids under 8 are not allowed to ride an OHV. Kids 8-16 must pass a written test at the ranger station 1st before being able to ride there. Just go see the ranger station near the campground and they should be able to tell you everything regarding the kid thing. You can also call 1.800.OHV.RIDE for more information. More info here... http://www.duneguide.com/sand_dune_guide_coral_pink.htm and http://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/coral-pink/
  18. I'm going into work tomorrow so I can have the 24th off so I will miss this one.
  19. Same here. Mine's been parked for at least two weeks. Now I have resorted to driving my gasser Z71 because its so much "cheaper".
  20. Hey! Where the hell is my hot churro you were gonna bring me??? :rant_on:
  21. I'be been down the cane beds road numerous times and looking at those pics I'M confused. Just go through Kanab. It's a tad longer, but WAY better conditions. It's also a very scenic drive once you leave Kanab and drive through the canyon heading to Coral.
  22. There is a slight chance I will be pulling in on Sunday the 25th on the way back from SLC. I'm crossing my fingers!!!
