  1. You never saw that? I drive down that street every day going to lunch. Kinda wierd they'd name a street that. :breakdance: "Hendertucky" :breakdance: :beer_bang:
  2. Actually IF it were low on oil that would have triggered a low oil switch to kill power to the ignition resulting in no spark. Glad you got it fixed.
  3. Will do, John. I will post up tomorrow and let you know what time we'll be showing up. :breakdance:
  4. Usually everyone parks pretty much together or nearby. There isn't much of a camp though. We all hang out at Banshee Hill at night at run the hill all night instead of hanging at camp.
  5. Probably not, but who is gonna step forward and take the heat if they are out there and require permits, etc? It aint gonna be me. I doubt anyone wants that responsibility. ...and yep, I know for a fact that the BLM has in the past and does read some of this stuff from time to time.
  6. One Pin Short is playing another show this Friday night. Anyone else in? I think Anna and I are going. One Pin Short May, 9 2008 at 21+ The Icehouse Lounge presents "Ink" Main Street, north of Charleston, Las Vegas, Cost : 5 bucks
  7. Not a problem. I agree- the time we had the lights was awesome. If we can do the lights, then cool. If not, yeah whatever. Looking forward to meeting up.
  8. stop talking....stop talking now...now would be a good time.
  9. I'm not sure exactly how much a permit is for an event like that (if you'd even need one). I wouldn't even attempt it if we would need one though. You have no idea how strict they (the BLM) are with things. Sean had permit, insurance, EMT's, restroom facility for his event, etc etc and STILL got nailed bad. exactly. Well explain that to the BLM when they wanna start writing tickets. They don't always see things our way. Some of them are on our side and unfortunatley others aren't. No worries guys. It isn't much different from a holiday weekend out there, just on a smaller scale. We can still go out and have fun, but we just have to make sure if we bring lights we aren't breaking any rules. I just have a feeling that annoucing it on a website, talking about it online with a large group of people, getting lights together and setting them up out there....the BLM MAY look at that as an organized event. It may just be a matter of having lights or not. We'll see. Regardless of lights or not, I'm down to go out there, do some riding, and hang at the hill and enjoy some summer nighttime sand with everyone .
  10. No, I put offset wheels on it. (same thing) No, I didn't miss his joke. I was talking about wider rhinos, ya know? the topic!? You wanna box now ma facka?
  11. ^ Typical Dodge guy reply. :banghead: I have worked at Chevy for 9 years and we have NEVER had a Allison grenade...let alone need an overhaul.
  12. Nah, they still look like DDR midgets. j/k Cole. Congrats! that thing looks like lots of fun. We're gonna need it for runs to the south pole!
  13. they go on sale May 17th to the public, presale starts earlier though like I said....click!
  14. What? Is that too high tech of talk for you? I tried putting it in simple terms for those tard readers out there. Should I dumb it down some more for you?
  15. no problem. I have $25K coverage (which is actually 3K less than the car new but whatever) and it's 129.00 per month for six months. That is coverage for one year though so I guess that averages out to like $65/ month if you average it out over 12 months. :porn:
  16. yep. The policy is a recreational policy, just like a boat. I have full coverage for liability, medical, collision, comprehensive, etc. So a broken arm would actually be covered from what I understand. As far as motor and trans....uhhhhh....NO. That WOULD be badass though!
  17. Click here (<--hope that works ) ...just got an e-mail from Slightly Stoopid that they are touring this summer! August 1st at the Joint baby! :porn: :porn: :porn: :moon: Hells yeah! I can't wait. :fro_smokin: click here if you have no idea who slightly stoopid is
  18. Looks awesome warrior. That is the FIRST thing I did with my Raptor. It handles so much better and is much more stable. It's the best thing to do with any sidexside or ATV. Long travel doesn't make it longer in length. :porn: :porn: Long travel ARMS make it wider and more stable. When you offset the wheels like he did (with spacers or offset wheels) essentially you are giving it slightly more travel by making your wheel to suspension pivot point longer while giving it more stablility. :porn:
  19. well yes but tenatively. I kinda wanted to go check the place out first, but we have it reserved for Saturday, June 14th I believe. Craig reserved it at the time just cause he could. We can back out with no fee or problem if we change our minds.
  20. Ummm get payed sh*t for having to go down there and deal with that BS and on top of it all miss out on a good day's pay at work! :moon: :porn: Imagine that! :porn:
  21. I have brought my car there many times and have had an absolute blast! OGP too. :porn: :porn: A lot of people I talk to don't like it for some reason , but there is plenty of riding/ driving area for a car. I kinda like the more technical stuff even in a car. You still have the big area of dunes off to the right near the campground. :moon:
  22. Actually it might be best to have it at this place wingnut told me about last night. I can't remember the name but it is just down the 215 a tad from Siearra Gold. Kinda far for some, but food is good and pretty cheap, we already have their banquet room reserved under Craig's name, and we get our own servers in their room. I think he said Oasis at 215 & Pos which is near Sunset/ Russell. Sierra Gold has no fee as long as we have over 40 people (which I don't see a problem), but food is expensive for group rates (buffet style) and drink prices there are kinda stupid.
  23. Unfortunatley I DID use mine, but I can say it was one of the smoothest processed claims I have ever had.
  24. It was trickyls2racer and limodriver that brought the lights out. The only issue with bringing out the lights is this... The BLM may look at this as a sanctioned or organized event becuase it is a large gathering in one spot and it can also be looked at as a "competitive event" too. They've done it in the past. I know, it sounds stupid and most wouldn't even worry about it. BUT, if you end up bringing lights out and the BLM comes out to give everyone chit and ask for permits and start writing tickets, guess who they are gonna go after first? thats right- the guy(s) with the lights. I doubt many would want to claim responsibility ya know? I am going to be contacting the BLM to confirm that we wouldn't need a permit just to go out with a bunch of friends and light up the hill for a little fun at night. Better to be safe than sorry. After seeing what happened to Sean w/ Banshee Wars a while back I wouldn't wanna be in that position. (He was kicked out of Dumont for 5 years) Just looking out for everyone is all. ok no problem. It just sounded like that because you said "keep us posted".
