  1. I have brought my car there many times and have had an absolute blast! OGP too. :porn: :porn: A lot of people I talk to don't like it for some reason , but there is plenty of riding/ driving area for a car. I kinda like the more technical stuff even in a car. You still have the big area of dunes off to the right near the campground. :moon:
  2. Actually it might be best to have it at this place wingnut told me about last night. I can't remember the name but it is just down the 215 a tad from Siearra Gold. Kinda far for some, but food is good and pretty cheap, we already have their banquet room reserved under Craig's name, and we get our own servers in their room. I think he said Oasis at 215 & Pos which is near Sunset/ Russell. Sierra Gold has no fee as long as we have over 40 people (which I don't see a problem), but food is expensive for group rates (buffet style) and drink prices there are kinda stupid.
  3. Unfortunatley I DID use mine, but I can say it was one of the smoothest processed claims I have ever had.
  4. It was trickyls2racer and limodriver that brought the lights out. The only issue with bringing out the lights is this... The BLM may look at this as a sanctioned or organized event becuase it is a large gathering in one spot and it can also be looked at as a "competitive event" too. They've done it in the past. I know, it sounds stupid and most wouldn't even worry about it. BUT, if you end up bringing lights out and the BLM comes out to give everyone chit and ask for permits and start writing tickets, guess who they are gonna go after first? thats right- the guy(s) with the lights. I doubt many would want to claim responsibility ya know? I am going to be contacting the BLM to confirm that we wouldn't need a permit just to go out with a bunch of friends and light up the hill for a little fun at night. Better to be safe than sorry. After seeing what happened to Sean w/ Banshee Wars a while back I wouldn't wanna be in that position. (He was kicked out of Dumont for 5 years) Just looking out for everyone is all. ok no problem. It just sounded like that because you said "keep us posted".
  5. I have had great luck with Allstate!
  6. Keep you posted? We were just giving our .02. It's not up to only me or ISBB when everyone goes out. If enough people were going out before August, I'm sure I'd probably still make it out.
  7. Anyone else planning on going? :freakin_nuts: I think general admin tickets are $30, reserved seats are $45. May 17-18th, Primm NV.
  8. nope, I have too many other trips and things planned so I don't quite yet have the itch to go back so soon. I'll just do an early AM trip if I need some sand. Besides the night drags/ rides have always been towards the middle/ end of summer right about when we start twitching for a sand fix.
  9. Me too. The season just barley ended. :freakin_nuts:
  10. yeah...what they ^ said, WHIZ. The whole point of get togethers that are posted up for everyone to see is so everyone comes out and gets to know each other and have a good time. All members on DDR are invited no matter how long you've been on here. This isn't a "inner circle click only" kinda part. :freakin_nuts:
  11. wingnut is joining you? What....is he gonna be sick tomorrow? Knda wierd for a TUESDAY. I wish I could join ya too bud, but I gotta go make some $$$.
  12. Oh I know. I was just hoping that alot more people would wanna come out and meet up. If there isn't that many for a headcount we'll just do like last time instead of reserving the banquet room, except somewhere a bit cheaper.
  13. wow...over 200 views and only a handfull of people are in for this? What's happening to you people?
  14. Those rides are awesome. Have fun wally. I will be at work while you're having all the fun.
  15. DERRRR!!! I can't believe there are people this stupid. Man Intended To Start Record Business, Police Say POSTED: 8:02 am PDT May 2, 2008 UPDATED: 8:33 am PDT May 2, 2008 FORT WORTH, Texas -- Charles Ray Fuller must have been planning one big record company. The 21-year-old North Texas man was arrested last week for trying to cash a $360 billion check, saying he wanted to start a record business, authorities said. Tellers at the Fort Worth bank were immediately suspicious, investigators said. Perhaps the 10 zeros on a personal check tipped them off. He was arrested on a forgery charge and released after posting $3,750 bail. Fuller said his girlfriend's mother gave him the check to start a record business. But the woman told the bank she did not give Fuller permission to take or cash the check.
  16. Cole I hope you don't hurt yourself with that thing. If you do, you have serious problems!
  17. Um ok. :boyyy: Walt, you always think that is so funny. Didn't we already talk about that? If Sierra Gold allowed it I'd actually be down for that. That your universal post for all plans!
  18. I'm just glad I live about 8 minutes from work.
  19. Thats what it's all about. I'd like to finally meet a few of the more recent posters on here that I haven't quite got a chance to meet yet as well as hang out with some of the OG's.
  20. Here's a few video clips from last weekend that I took w/ my camera. Slightly Stoopid Portishead
  21. I rode that bike once- very nice ride! congrats
  22. Not really sure yet. Coyotes on Sunset has some damn good margaritas. If I go I'll let ya know.
  23. I think my Dmax registration is due in May. I'll probably use it for that.
  24. Just curious- how do you plan to spend yours if you are getting one? I bet most people will just pay bills with theirs. Doesn't seem like they will really "help stimulate the economy" much. I don't even know what I am getting yet.
