  1. Hey I'm not an actual freak. I'm a freak about the dunes, fool. But yes Sam, DUNEFREAK was there. Yeah and all those pics are about 1/2-3/4 of the pics I took too. The tickets weren't actually that expensive when you consider how many bands were there and everything the festival offerred. Think about how much you spend on a decent show in Vegas for a few hours. At least 50 bucks per ticket right? Well double that ticket price but add about 30 more bands per day, all kinds of art & creations, performances, beer gardens, people watching , and huge outdoor kickass venue. It only seems like alot because it was 3 days long times 2 people= ~$600. IMO, it was worth every penny. You didn't have to buy a 3 day pass. You could still go for one full day for about a hundred bucks. And yes....the rv resort was badass! The hotels UP the hell out of their rates every year around the time of the festival.
  2. Anyone been to Little Sahara for Memorial weekend? I heard it gets super packed like Dumont on Presidents Day. Just curious. My plans might be forced to be changed for that weekend and I just MIGHT be stopping by there instead of Coral. Please post up any pics you might have of the place. Thanks
  3. until
Watch out, crazyhorse...here we come! :swim: :chug: :fro_smokin:
  4. until
Memorial Day is Monday May 25th. Catch up with some DDR peeps at Coral Pink.
  5. heres my :shocked2: 1) I never need to let the air out of my trailer tires for the sand. Pismo maybe. 2) Use an air compressor if you need to air them up. 3) I would still run a weight dist setup. It also helps with sway and control when towing by distributing some of the weight to the front tires. Smaller trailers can sometimes be WORSE for sway. 4) Haven't ever used 6V batts, but I hear they are great. As long as you keep up with checking the water level in them, 12V batts will be fine as long as you have 2. 5) CONGRATS, Justin! Have fun and take some pics for us.
  6. I can't remember what pilot jet or where the needle is. Sorry, its been a while since I have messed with it. I will know soon when I get ready for Coral Pink and jet it for that elevation. I'll let ya know. Right after I got the motor together it had 180 psi. I had to check it 3 times because I didn't expect it so high. It may be slightly less now after running it a few trips. It sure does run good as hell though. I heard 94's were teh best year YZ motors. I also heard even McGrath used a 94 head on his newer YZ.
  7. ya like that huh? dead sexy! hahaaa "back rack". Anna mentioned something to that same effect when she saw it too. And yep...Anna had to go shoot some hoops yo :boyyy: :afro: hahahaaaaa fuggin hog stamp If you see the writing on her back it says something about free hugs or some chit. We actually seriously thought it said "FREE HOGS" until we got close enough to read it. And dude, you probably could have. :shocked2: I actually felt like I didn't fit in at times. I think I was too normal.
  8. and the best for last.... Roger Waters pics aren't that great, but I got a few They played a bunch of stuff from The Wall, some from Wish you Were Here, touched on some from Animals, then they took an intermission and came back and played pretty much all of Dark Side of the Moon. the show was spectacular. It was a little too political at times (shut up and play a$$hat! :shout: ) , but I didn't let that part ruin it for me. :shocked2: I grew up listening to a bunch of Floyd so to finally see Roger Waters perform and see it in person gave me goosebumps. What an experience.
  9. ok and for Sunday... We took our time getting up. We checked out the rv resort a little bit... campground/ rv park ...then hit up a Mexican bar/grill in the neighborhood. :shocked2: good grub then Anna's favorite part of the day. We spotted a Subway mascot guy on the corner and she yelled, "HEY SANDWHICH!!!!" then off the the show... someone give this girl a cheese :afro: or sammich...SOMETHING! more freaks thats hot! a fuggin tramp stamp that SAYS tramp stamp! WOW! Gorgol Bordelo more some talented beer drinkers in the beer garden some cool sunset pics

  13. yeah but the schedules were kinda off so we got there towards end of that show. It didn't seem like we missed much though. It was ok. Yeah actually there were a handful of coachella peeps there. Some had Cruise America RVs other had travel trailers. Yeah it wasn't really in the budget for us either, but we did it anyways. We were committed after we pulled the trigger on the 600 dollar tickets. We don't regret it one bit though. It was awesome.
  14. HUGE main stage from the side view. the Breeders (they were fuggin WAAAAASTED) shows in one of the big DJ tents :boyyy:  ....thats just some of the pics from day one.
  15. Anna and I spent 4 days down at Coachella. It was great. The shows and bands were kickass, the people-watching was non-stop because of so many freaks, and it was flat out an awesome time. Some of my favorite bands to see were Roger Waters, Slightly Stoopid, Jack Johnson, Portishead, Raconteurs, & Gogol Bordelo. Serj Tankian sucked. Prince also played the main stage. We watched that for about 2 songs and were over that. We towed the hauler down there and stayed at Indian Wells RV resort. Hotels were going for $400+ a night and that was for a chithole. So we figured even with the added expense of fuel we saved a ton of cash. Here are some pics... driving down our home for the weekend... even had cable TV  oh and we also had a stripper pole in our camp spot too we ganked a Weezer sign from the side of the road going into the show. While Slightly Stoopid were on I noticed the time....kind of ironic wouldn't ya say? :smoking: :fro_smokin: a lot more pics to come....
  16. ...or you can check for a lean condition by blocking the airflow to the carb by putting your hand over the top. If the idle starts to climb then you know you have a lean condition and possibly a vacuum leak.
  17. You don't have your corner anymore??? What do you think this is??? ---> click Its just not pinned anymore because not everyone understood what it was for. You can still bump it up and post there. Its not my fault its getting buried in gen chat. Get on here more then!
  18. Tell string congrats! Now get me a "beew". Oh and nice grass too. I felt I had to add my .02 as well about the lawn.
  19. sweet setup, Yosh. Isn't that similar to the style filter housing they use in desert racing in extreme dust conditions?
  20. I have a 94 YZ250 as well. I have the head slightly milled, Weisco piston, stock bore size, and I think I still have Boyensen (sp?) reeds- I cant remember. For Dumont I have mine jetted at 410 or 420. Ever since I ran that jetting I haven't had any top end issues. My bike came with a 330 and I burned up about 3 top ends before I realized how much fuel you need for duning with a 2 stroke.
  21. We just got back last night at 8:30. Jeez! Give me a day or so to recover! :beer_bang: I'll post up some pics tonight. Its gonna take a while. I took a few hundred pics along with some video clips too. :beer_bang:
  22. Stealin Mike's thunder huh? Nice hauler.
  23. will do. Coachella was the sh*t!!!! :beer_bang: Holy crap. I'll post something up tomorrow. We just got home after 4 days down there and I'm beat right now.
