  1. ^ yeah we just so happen to also know the guys who built that car and all those V8Rail cars. They are DDR members, spooner and v8rail (Stephan and Thomas).
  2. I guess I am the only one who took any pics and appreciates nature especially at Dumont.
  3. Another Pauly video. Click.
  4. I couldn't believe how much color was out there last couple trips. Post your pics if you have any. (pics from homepage)
  5. Jon, you are busy because you are one of few that do what you do (tuning and performance work ) and do it well. I hear your name dropped here and there more than you can imagine.
  6. thanks nick...and hell yea it made it. That is the first time I saw it in the sand! tell me about it ...thanks Ken
  7. A complete overview and trip report from cleanup has been completed.
  8. ltr450 won with 26 votes! Badass pic. Homepage has been updated. Make sure you click refresh
  9. I wish, but no can do. I have been doing SO many trips lately I need some time (and money ) for other stuff right now.
  10. Yes they did already lay down a layer of recycled asphalt. It wasn't enough to oil and roll it though. They didn't have the time or funding at the time either to complete the project. The BLM might be getting another batch from the I-40 project and they plan to roll it, and put a chemical on it when they get it. ....mayyybe, we'll have to wait and see if they can get their hands on it 1st.
  11. I was going to day trip it on Saturday, but it looks like I'm not going to make it after all. I need to take a break and get some things done. I think I am on #10 or 11 dune trip so far this season and still have one or two left to go.
  12. Found vegas style's trip reoprt from that wekeend in the archives. (Man that was easy as hell thanks to whoever made that section :angry2: ) http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=6646 The pics of the carousel... Seems like ALOT of work just for a few seconds of some chicks spinning around on that thing in the desert. You think they could have spent less money using a green screen or something and super-imposing (sp?) them in the desert.
  13. Nah I've always taken at least a few pages of pics on most big weekends. Cleanup was easy to take that many though with everything that was going on. The new camera rocks though.
  14. Yep, ^ what he said. The BLM will give you all the info/ requirements necessary to become a vendor. You need to fill out and vendor's application as well.
  15. I think he hit new topic instead of add reply replying to this thread... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=7979
  16. Here's the link to my ablum with the rest of my pics from cleanup. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/gallery/th...s.php?album=326 all 10 pages
  17. Nice choice of bike! Congrats
  18. whoa...I'm gonna pretend I never read any of that.
  19. Sit in the AC? WTF u talking about? I mean load the bike in the back of the truck, get there at 5:30, ride for about 4 hours, then leave when it gets hot. It's what most the die hard mofos in our group do. (that wasn't meant as an insult so don't take it that way) Capt you are have right about most of what you posted. I agree completely about some of the things you said. However, you are making it out to be like it was a race though. We went on a "nothing to prove" ride and I think Sand Saw just isn't used to the style of riding we do. Let's not get him worked up more than he already is. I already see personal attacks form both sides and that will get this thread closed and/or people suspended. Not cool, people.
  20. Turning is part of duning. Jumping razors straight on without spotters isn't safe in my book. To tell you the truth, I thought we took some pretty good swooping lines and kept the tight chit to a minimum. It doesn't need anything other that to be ridden. And it doesn't matter how hot it gets. There's always some cool temperature duning even in the summer. 7AM - 10 AM in the middle of summer at Dumont or up at Coral Pink :eatdrink021: . I don't ride MX anymore. It's much too dangerous for the line of work I am in. I gave up that type of riding when I broke my arm pretty bad when I came up short on a double. :beer_bang: I don't care too much for tracks anyways. I enjoy desert riding as well, but it's been quite a while. My 2 wheeler hasn't seen a knobbie in years. Duning has just been too much fun for me to wanna switch it up lately. :eatdrink021:
  21. No...it wasn't a race. Good ride though. Sorry our lines weren't to your liking. That's how we ride our bikes as well. :eatdrink021: You gotta learn how to turn. Maybe you need a QWAD! :eatdrink021: j/k Maybe we can hook up again when we bring the bikes out. It's been a while since I have ridden that damn thing.
  22. ya gotta read just a little further http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=7975
  23. http://www.fourstrokeassociation.com/ Four Stroke Association has just finished their website. Just thought I'd let all the racers know. Some of the pics on their site were taken by none other than DDR member, ash. :eatdrink021: (I sent them over when he requested them) Great shots Ash. :eatdrink021:
