But lately with all the talk about how "our fees aren't being used right, we need more toilets, a better road...' , I respond with my .02 as well. I just state the facts that I have found from first hand experiences with TRT members and the BLM. :north_pole: I understand the points you made for a person that thinks outside the box. Thats kinda the whole problem though. People don't understand what goes on "inside the box". Until they have a complete understanding how things work like how the fee money is spent, how much the expenses are for the BLM, etc etc, they really don't have much of a reason to b*tch about it. Everyone needs to look into it more and understand these things better. Those TRT meetings are PERFECT for that. They explain EVERYTHING and there isn't any conspiracy about the fees.

ok you pecker neck , but yes it does matter. I am being realistic. The speakers I have are currently set up as a 5 channel surround (with a center channel). It makes a huge difference when watching a movie for sure. The speakers aren't that great that I have in there right now, but that doesn't matter. Surround is surround no matter what. The hauler came with surround sound, I am keeping it surround sound. :north_pole: Fuggin pecker neck! I lock my doors. You sure you want that anyways? diversify one of these years??? I do LOTS of other things other than the dunes thougout the year. I think I am into more things than I can afford. Yes the dunes are always there, but Presidents Day weekend only comes once a year as well. I'm not missing it. Sorry it's just what I love to do. :smoker:

I think the main goal of having everyone buy the pass off-site is too help alleviate congestion and lines entering Dumont on the busy weekends. There are other reasons, but I think that is the biggest reason behind it.

I wish it was a different weekend. Short course is always fun. I'll be out at D though.

The biggest reason why we'd like to keep the south pole a place that isn't on the map is pretty much like Gerald said. It's to keep it somewhat of an adventure to find it. If you can't find it, then I guess you aren't really much of a duner then!
