I'm glad you made it out too, Tony. I'm a little sore today as well. Man, are we gettin old or what's the deal? I planned on doing some slower rides, but well...you know....that is almost impossible sometimes. The lines were just too fast to putt around. :chug:  I had a blast.

Today was great. Another good day trip with lots of riding and hanging out with great peeps. I'm really glad we went, Nick. It was way cool stalteri920 made it out as well. It's been a while since we've ridden together. I'll walk everyone through most the highlights of our day since I have nothing but time on my hands tonight. I'm staying in since I have partied alot the past 3 days straight and then a full day of duning. I'm wore out. We rolled into D about 11/11:30 AM. It was pretty cloudy and kinda overcast. We pulled up to richardcheese and aseicback's camp and parked with them. After a little chit chat, we all rolled out to the dunes. I led a pretty long dune ride that seemed to last forever. Talk about a warm up ride! :chug: yiah We all ended up out at the north pole, chilled for a while and relaxed. I saw raspadoo and another Funco on that ride and they circled around near the north pole I but never got a chance to say hi. DDR sticker still on the mailbox. While we were out there some guy in some pretty cool looking "China built kinda thing" rolled up. We talked with him for a bit as well as with these guys with some really sweet mid-engine V8 cars. It had an 800cc 3 cylinder motor with a manual trans. It was kinda like a Suzuki knock off. After a ride back through the dunes, we cruised past vendor row. There were actually quite a few vendors out there. Back at camp we just hung out with everyone in camp for a while and grabbed a snack. dunes around camp near bathroom 3 Then after ISBB got an itch (probably from his crack in a can energy drink ), back out to the dunes. This is where we stopped on a ride and ISBB lost us. There were a bunch of riders in the area and it started getting a little congested so I just waited for them to all clear while we hung out. The sun finally came out and it was nice! Dunelover spotted us and cruised by. We said hi and she also informed us that we missed the meet and greet at the south pole @ 2pm. "oh yyyyeah...oops!" I spotted Art (or coulda been Abbott) in the little Red Busa car. I couldn't tell who it was though cause they had helmets on. Also saw the Tech 3 Mellow Yellow car that is for sale on here. Nice car and it seemed to go pretty good! Then back out to the north pole assuming Nick was out there waiting for us since we got separated. Low and behold, there's Nick sitting on a rock under the mailbox waiting for us to show up. "Whatup!" On the way back we stoppped and saw Mike (Sandpirates) and got to meet him at his camp. Nice to meet ya Mike. Camp host, Don, came by in the rescue rhino to chat. richardcheese's dog, bruiser Capt's camp and car Capt and dunelover invited us over for some carne asada Thanks again guys! Those were some bomb azz burritos. We hung out there for a bit. We watched their son beat up on cheese... "get back here, punk!" sunset...my favorite time of day at the dunes ahh yes...and a nice warm fire with good peeps to finish off a great day All in all I think we got like 3 really good runs in. It was definitely a good dose of sand enough for our fix that was needed.

YIAH YIAH Holy hell that was too much fun. That was one of the best Casa de la Cole parties I have been to. You and Jules never disappoint. :freakin_nuts: Some observations.. -I'm still a lil :drunk2: I think -My quote of the night: "It was everything I expected and then some" -Cole started to take his clothes off too with the midget -ISBB, dude put yo shoes back on -lots of pizza, a rainbow cake :gayboy: , tons of Arctic Bull, and a beer supply that was once huge kept running out. -broom handles can make excellent midget stripper poles -OGP got his leg humped by her -KensColors made the little person look even smaller -Sand Snake held the stripper like a baby -"WHOA, I didn't know she was gonna take everything off" yikes! -the dirtbike rider song was great. I think everyone was singing that mofo -change the music right in the middle of a kick a$$ Marylan Manson song and your almost bound to get your azz kicked -Jules passed out like 2 or 3 times -Nit Whit dances like the dude :beer_bang: -duneJNKY got HAMMERED :drunk2: -lots of peeps in Coles little house= feels like my toyhaler -Coles neighbors are super cool. I can't believe what they put up with. -It was great hanging out with the Cali peeps. OGP, Woody, Randizzle and Nit Whitt. Cole thanks for having us. Once again, happy birthday brutha. We had an awesome time. I hope your house didn't get too trashed. Anna and I tried our best to help cleanup. I think I took out like 5 bags of trash. :shout: "Pack it in, throw it in Cole's front yard!"

Oh ok. I don't think I saw you then. I was sitting in the back row on the left side. I was looking around for others who might some ddr peeps in the crowd, but its hard when you have never met them in person. Maybe we'll see ya next TT then.
-
Ah no chit? I wish I woulda known you were coming. We went straight from the meeting to PT's and were there fairly late so I doubt we would have missed each other. Where were you sitting at the meeting and at PT's? I might have seen you and didn't even kow it was you. Maybe next time.

Looks more like it ran hot and/or lean. Yikes.

He moved out to Pamona. He's no longer in Vegas. -
You could always use a slightly different spelling or use sand-chick, sand_chick, etc. Let me know and I can change it if you want.
-
indagully no longer camps in the gully so he has changed his screen name to indsasand. Just wanted to make that clear to all that are . This DDR public announcement brought to you by....uh.....me I guess.

It was great seeing everyone last night. There were a few that made it out that usually don't...cmyfirepole, captnkllm and dunelover. Good to see you guys. Hell even Rhino King made it make out! I think there were like 10-15 DDR's there last night. Good times. Too bad some of the others that attended the Nellis Dunes meeting couldn't make it....skyz and Danny, The Alaskan, Brain & Kim (I forget their screen names), and a couple others. Maybe next time.

Fish & Wildlife responds to CBD petition
dunefreak replied to SailAway's topic in Dumont Regulations, Safety & BLM
Good idea Woody. Thank you. I will get it up on the site for everyone to see. Maybe even a page of the site designated to only this is needed. That way it can be on public display and clearly explained how it is an issue and that we all need to be responsible about this if we want to keep our dunes open to OHV. -
I forgot to mention that you went 95 mph endangering the life of others chasing after him just to give the guy the middle finger? How did that make the situation any better or right? The license # has been removed due to it being someone's personal information...even if he was in the wrong. I see your post as basically a personal attack (or threat) and is not tolerated on this board.

Gee nice 1st post! You come on here assuming this person is a member of this site. If it was a Dumont Dunes banner on the windshield then maybe you should go post your rant on DUMONTDUNES.com and not DDR. Glad you are ok though I guess.
