This weekend was one of the best. I had a great time. It was great to meet some new faces from DDR and hang out with good friends. This was one of the best New Years ever. I am gonna simplify my trip as best as possible. -weather was nice, but COLD at times -dunes were choppy but smoothed out on Tuesday a lil bit -not that many people there for New Years made it almost feel like a nice off weekend at times -had the big projector out again in our camp. That was fun as usual. Thanks again, RacerX, for letting us use your dish for the fight and New Years Eve! -got some really good buggy runs in as usual with everyone. -Flyin Ryans car is SICK! Fast as hell and is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever been in. -south pole meet & greet was fairly small this time but gave everyone a chance to meet easier. That was good times as usual. -comp was pretty dead at night all weekend -ynot was able to make it out with rogers807 and b370. We got a good run in today. Glad you made it out, Terry! -My rail held up great. I ran it hard all weekend and didn't have any issues with it. I didn't even ride 1 of the 2 quads I brought out the whole time I was there. lol -We burned alot of wood, I drank alot of everything, and had some great food all weekend too. The last 5 days have been so great. I got to do everything I like to do on a dune trip: lots of dune rides, chillen in camp and doing absolutley nothing at times, party with good friends, meet some new ones, cruise vendor row a couple times, watch some good DVDs, etc etc. The list goes on and on. You're gonna have to wait till at least tomorrow, Stephan. I did get a couple video clips of him going up comp. You'll have to give me some time to get the video together and uploaded though.

We went on a medium paced dune run with hillshooter and he hung right there behind us pretty well. He had to been getting pretty beat up though in that standard travel car. It was rough out there. I heard it was pretty fast on the hill though. It was good hanging out and chattin w/ you Steve.

Just got in and I am exhausted. Will post up pics and more stuff later. What an awesome weekend though! 5 days at Dumont was great.

Last time we set up rhino kings we got really lucky. We just set the dish/ tripod in the sand and pointed it the approx direction and called in to PPV and walla. I guess we got lucky though and didn't have to mess with it much.

Not sure about the fight, but the truck flip is on ESPN. You should be able to get that no prob. :beer_bang:

Danny's buddy Ryan is the same Ryan we have been talking about (flyin ryan). Danny's car was built by the same builder, V8Rail (spooner and V8Rail here on DDR). They defintinly have done their homework and build some sweet cars.

I think I can answer that for him. Not sure exactly how much motor it takes, but I heard in the neighborhood of 1200-1400 HP (at the motor). The car should make that or close to it. They think aerodynamics may be an issue as the front A-arms might create a vortex of air slowing the car down. As for the car being tuned. It was tuned twice. the 2nd time it made more power, but it was tuned using 91 octane and not full boost. he wants it to be reliable. He can turn up the boost and run race gas and it should make numbers close to what it needed when the time comes for space shuttle lift off. Think we should split this topic?

Of course, but it depends on where we end up having it since you may have to be 21. We should reaklly get the list together soon and vote on a place. Can someone (with more time than me right now, lol) put together a list of all the recommended places that have been mentioned so far? Just post it up and then we can add a poll.
