  1. Congrats! Nice ride...but 26" wheels? :afro: I heard those aren't the best for towing.
  2. I've heard of robot SHEEP. Ask desertskyz. Holy Jesus! AWESOME! :peek: Is it wrong to laugh? Oh well...who cares...those commercials rock!
  3. STAINLESS? Holy crap. Now that's some serious shiat! Wow, I kinda like it- OVERKILL.
  4. Not a problem, David. I would have gotten a hold of you if I needed to. I have my ways. I got the rail done, but not dune-ready. I didn't end up going. Flyin Ryan's car wasn't ready anyways either. No worries, bud. I appreciate it though.
  5. No problem either way. You know that. Why a day trip? Come out Friday- Sat.
  6. or for not putting it in four wheel drive At least he probably got good gas mileage on the way out there, F450 boy. j/k
  7. I'll need to drop a 2 piece first, but then we're gone. :fro_smokin: That was the best damn "warm up" / Pastrana ride ever that day. We are long overdue for one of those kinds of 2 wheeler runs. I'm thinking the 12th will have to be a weekend trip for me. It's sounding better and better already.
  8. here's one http://www.wheelersrv.com/
  9. Well I just took a look in the garage and I don't have that posi anymore. I must have sold it or gotten rid of it already. It would have been perfect for ya. Oh well.
  10. nope, we're gonna bump it back up to the top every day just to prove how crazy you are. j/k I think I see what you mean...maybe. :peek:
  11. I'm still not only confused by this whole thing with smaller ugly wheels bolted to the outside of his regular wheels, but WTF is with the one blinged out mega sized wheel on the left rear? Is that like a giant shiney weight from his weight set? Did he accidentally bolt it on his truck instead of working out?
  12. Do you understand that 5/16" is bigger than 1/4" ??? The 1/4" whips are the most common sized whips that most people run on their bikes. I think you'd need a damn buggy whip to hold that big of a flag. Unless you don't ever build up enough speed cause you keep getting stuck on the razorbacks. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! hahaaaa
  13. You sound pretty confused there. We should try for at very least a day trip in Jan on the 12th. Stalteri is going out. 2 wheeler crew boyyy.
  14. no prob We have all been anxious as hell even to see this thing finally run as well. After seeing the car and how complex everthing is (coolers, plumbing, wiring, custom 1 off built motor, GIANT radiator and placement, etc etc) I can completely understand why it has taken so long to finish. This is definitely not your ordinary sandrail. Every time Ryan builds a new car it's like re-inveting the wheel all over again. It's one bada$$ car though. :chug: You guys did an excellent job designing this thing.
  15. Looks like their site is no longer.
  16. I highly recommend AGAINST welding the spider gears if it is your daily driver. That will put an enormous amount of stress on the drivetrain, tires, etc. Not to mention it will be a b*tch to park the freakin thing or drive it in the rain. Is it a 4 cylinder? If so a posi might bog that thing down. Seriously though, just swap out the carrier with a posi unit from a Z28. That is the cheapest and smartest way to do it unless you can get a hold of an aftermarket one for cheap.

pphhhhhhhhhew! He made it! It took over a day to recessitate him, but he pulled through. Mutha Bitchezzz!
  18. right on thanks bud. My car is about 12 feet long and like ~80-85" wide I think.
  19. I think they only put the 8.5" in the ZR2 model. I think it was the 8.5. Hell, it's been a while since I've done diffs at Chevy. I'll see if I could find out for sure.
  20. It depends on your service. Verizon usually always does in most spots. If I go, I'll give you a call.
