  1. He already said that, Craig. ---->"It's Race 1 of the 4SCS." (planetsand.com) I posted up about this a little while ago... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=6519
  2. Ash, you and I have had this conversation before. You remember. I cannot STAND that place. I refuse to go there unless abosolutely necessary. You can save quite a few bucks on grocery items, but I don't care. Is my sanity worth a few bucks? NOPE! I shop at Albertsons for groceries and wherever else for the other items if need be. Out of the last few times I was there I saw 3 fights. People were flocking to the area of the fight to check it out as if it was high school. Low class pieces of chit......no thanks. Walmart!
  3. I made all the christmas smilies' names start with "xmas" so they'd all be at the bottom of the clickable table. :xmas_grinch: (except that big azz sleigh one of course) Yeah I hear ya about Christmas being an excuse. We still need to have that "staff meeting" and discuss a get together.
  4. I am not much of a Christmas kinda person either, but we have to cater to all our members here on DDR. :xmas3: oh...and yeah the Grinch is in there --> :xmas_grinch:
  5. OK, this is sort of a rant. There was a similar thread a while back, but I don't even know where it is anymore. So here it goes.... Anna and I had free tickets to go see Dane Cook last night at Mandalay Bay. When we got there we wented to grab a few beers before we went to our seats. We waited in one of the ridiculously overpriced beer lines. Now first off let me explain how this beer line worked. There were small portable carts on wheels with plastic bottles of beer and a few random mixed drinks that were available. This was not your traditional large bar where there was a bunch of people crowded around fighting to gain the bartenders attention for a drink. The guy serving the drinks simply would pour a drink or open a beer bottle, collect the money, and say "next". When we finally approached the front of the line, which seemed like it took forever because the "bartender" felt the need to get all chatty with the clubber hoes in front of us, we ordered 4 beers. They were 7 bucks a piece. No big deal. I suck it up every time I go to a show or concert on the strip. Here is my rant. After the part-time douchbag bartender unscrewed the 4 caps from the plastic 7 dollar beer bottles, I paid him $28. After that I grabbed the beers and said politely said thanks. He also said thanks in return. When I turned around he says "STIFF!". I wanted to go off on this penus-less jerk, but instead I just turned my head slightly to him and said "YEP". Ya know I am all for tipping a bartender or whoever the person may be when it is deserved. People (especially in Vegas on the strip) are forgetting that it is exactly that....A TIP. It is for extra good service. It's not like the guy poured me an extra special drink or even did anything to earn a tip. I have tipped in the past for no reason at all. I have thought about it afterwards and flat out felt like a dumbass for doing it too. I work hard for my money. Why the hell should some guy get a dollar or even two for simply unscrewing a bottle? that. ok....rant off.
  6. Hey Bob, was Kevin Federline there? I never know when you are serious. :angry2: Here's a smilie that I thought was fitting. Haha, yeah you should go back and read my shout yesterday AM right after yours. Anyways, I can't believe I forgot THIS pic. We were really tempted to join everyone at the bar that were waiting for the race to start which seemed like it took forever. It was like a bunch of "bad santas" (like in the movie, Bad Santa) hanging at the bar. Fuggin classic. Even though it was like 8:30/9AM, a cold beer actually sounded really good. But , we were good. :porn: Running in that damn santa suit was hell. Even though it was fairly light weight, we were sweatin our a$$es off and those stupid pants kept falling down. I finally had to pin mine up.
  7. Dancing elf? Hmm, I don't remember. You mean the dancing jester that was up just recently? As for the sleigh one, here it is. :xmas-sleigh:
  8. Thanks Terry. I thought it would be much more difficult. Running and endurance has always been one of my more stronger physical abilities. I think the only reason we made it is because we chose not to go out Fri night!
  9. whatever fatty! At least I can run a 5K!
  10. no prob. Now to get some decent pics for a new sig.
  11. Ace, I don't think they are the largest. Eaither way, it doesn't matter anymore. They might as well not even be there at all. Crowdog has more info on Kelso if anyone is curious to check it out... http://www.duneguide.com/closed_areas_kelso_dunes.htm
  12. Well if you decide, just let me or any other admin know. Members can't change their own display names.....yet. I keep meaning to change that one day. We can take care of it though.
  13. Gotta love black plastics in the dust huh? My Raptor is black too. Looks good though. Time to change that screen name to DuNe450r now huh?
  14. :xmas3: :xmas4: :xmas5: :xmas6: Anyone got any other cool ones? If so, I'll add em.
  15. Is that a serious question? If it is...then no. I was taking the pic.
  16. Yeah I didn't even notice the Paddle Tire King place until I looked at the pics. I know I know. I didn't have any DDR swag on this time around. Hey it was friggen early. I was just lucky to wake up at 7 AM on a Saturday to go RUN!
  17. Looks like Daniel is slowly but surley still making progress with his recovery! Keep it up, Daniel. This is the latest update as of this morning...
  18. No, that would be the black water tank that would fill up then, not gray. Or should it be called yellow water?
  19. You have to look at it as watts, not amps. Usually HID's only draw about 13 watts each, not amps. There is only a quick surge at startup to power them up, after that I am sure your alternator would be good enough to power them.
  20. Yeah I knew what you meant. If you run a normal automotive alternator on your rail already that should be sufficinet enough. The HID's don't draw much at all.
  21. 5 days here and I didn't have to dump my gray water over TDay weekend. You have to be efficient.
  22. upgrade the alternator? How come? HID's aren't suppose to draw that much wattage. They are less than Halogan lights...thats for sure.
  23. Anna and I just got back from the 5K Great Santa Run downtown Vegas. I thought it was retarded at first, but in the end it felt great to get some excercise and had fun doing it. There were thousands of santas that showed up. I don't know if we (Vegas) broke the world record for largest number of santas in one spot, but we'll find out soon. Either way, like I said, it was fun at for a good cause. Everyone paid to run and proceeds went to Opportunity Village for the needy. http://www.opportunityvillage.org/content/?c=29 Here are some pics.
  24. What crowds do you think strippers are gonna attract??? DRUNKEN FOOLS! With large crowds and alcohol it quickly becomes an issue for crowd control for the BLM.
