Thank you. I think that is what everyone was forgetting. It didn't matter where you went at Dumont on Halloween weekend- it was dusty everywhere due to the weather.

Well before we can sign people up in large numbers, I think the FoDD website has to be updated first (yeah I know- it's being worked on). I used to have a link right on DDR to sign people up, but that link is now broken on FoDD's end. I understand FoDD does things behind the scenes, but I think the website is THEE MOST important tool in keeping an organization going. The internet is the public's #1 source for information. If there is no current info online, nobody is going to want to join because to them the organization seems dead. Just take a look at how this site has grown because there are constant updates being done and new information provided. That is more important than I think alot of people realize. People need to see things change directly from that group, not just hear about them from word of mouth or other websites. Damn.... I should have chosen marketing back on career day. I think with everyone's efforts, we can all help make FoDD an extremely strong organization. We just need to pull together to make it happen. As a FoDD business member, I have volunteered and donated my time and money in the past on many occasions and will continue to do so with whatever they need. If I didn't have enough on my plate already with this website (DDR), I would jump on board with the FoDD board of directors. But for now, I am going to continue to go and above and beyond the expected duties of an ordinary FoDD member whatever those may be. Terry & Vicki both know I am here for them and will support FoDD anyway I can. So, in short, as for a membership drive............I'm all about it. :GWH:

Lisa, make sure the box for DST is checked in your profile. Go to> My controls> board settings and check the box if it isn't. Also make sure your correct time zone is selected.

It's 7:16 and that's what time it says it is on DDR right now.

As much as I love the nice azz weather lately, I still can't wait for some jacket weather. WTF, it's still almost 80 degrees during the day and we're into NOVEMBER now. Global warming?

Nick mentioned something about it. That is how I found out the site had built had been deleted and he had to start over. But that is good to hear it is hopefully finally in the works on FoDD's end. Like I said before, it won't be hard. Let's do it.

ISBB & I have also offerred to help with the FoDD site many times in the past. ISBB even had a new site built but it has since been deleted because we haven't heard anything back about it. Anyways, we are still able to help. Just let us know, Vicki. It won't be hard at all. I will even devote some of my time to keeping it updated and looking purdy.

I think they are concerned with all sand play areas in America, but they mainly focus on Glamis as that is the reason ASA was started. We all need organizations like ASA, FoDD, CORVA, etc. in our sport/ hobby. It's just too bad that with most of these organizations comes politics.

Races were awesome yesterday! I thought the trucks were the only thing worth watching, but the whole day was still fun as hell. It was me, duniemonkie, dnchevyman, and VegasHD hanging out for the majority of the day. It was great meeting up with everyone. I saw lots of DDR peeps and even met 50caliberracing and a couple of his "hater friends". some highlights or "observations" if you will ..... -$6 Coors beers got us through the boring parts of the race. -the Red Bull truck did the best DOUBLE FLIP I have ever seen. That was incredible! Video of the replay coming soon! -the wind kinda sucked, but wasn't that bad -Jerry (Daugherty) broke a front end, but still made it out the 2nd round and did pretty damn well. Congrats you guys. Jerry was holding back one of the Herbst guys for the last half of the race. Good driving. :dance: -Aaron got a couple flats -It was great hanging out and chattin with you guys again, Aaron, Tim, & Jerry. -Hanging out near the last turn is entertaining to say the least. The Pro 4 trucks were throwing some nasty sized dirt clumps over the fence. -DCT still parks with the "baaaad boys" and their nice azz coaches. Good seeing you, Todd. Where the heck was Trav?? -Race Rhinos are slow and boring to watch -Trophy carts are slower than Rhinos and are also boring to watch. The modified ones weren't too bad.
