  1. Not necessarily that much more, just few a few things and tricks that Scott @ Heads Up knows. I didn't see anything upgraded in that trans in the list. Scott has built drag Busa bikes in upwards of 550-600 reliable hp, yes reliable. I'm not saying I'd try and have something that nasty, but I'm sure he could build me something comparable or better for less money. He is really good with the busas. Pretty close. Turbo kits are about 4K in parts and labor when you add one to a stock N/A motor. You can only run a limited amount of boost without doing internal mods of course. All I was saying was it wouldn't cost 10G to add a turbo and make about the same power with my motor.
  2. Yeah but look what he is asking. I could have a turbo Busa built better for cheaper...including the cost of turbo and motor. Nice bike though.
  3. No you jackazz. I only had a few beers last year. I didn't get trashed. So, again, why does how mexican know that they will be 8 bucks for sure? Who is he and WTF is the troutbox @ GD.com? I'm not that worried about it I'm just curious how this "highly classified" iinformation leaked out?
  4. Your gonna be on post restriction soon. :laughoff:
  5. I don't remember beers being that high last year. How does this guy know they will be 8 bucks? If thats the case, no biggie. I don't plan on drinking that much anyways.
  6. riiiiight, but if you plan on being there all day that isn't really gonna help you past the first 10 minutes you are there. Unless you like warm pocket beer.
  7. Welcoem to DDR, Chris. There's already a topic started about this I beleive.... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=5659
  8. There's not just one beer tent, there are several. And no, they don't allow coolers.
  9. This is about SANDRAILS, not your guys' "good ol days".
  10. Yep, if you go over that limit, you need need to seriously rethink your duning lifestyle. Congrats, Ash. Post some pics when you get it home.

OCTOBER IS HERE!!!! BACK TO DUMONT! Season Kickoff! Let's go duning!!! :mc_smiley:
  12. I can almost taste the beers now! last years SSSS Randizzle
  13. Yes it is only one building, building 12. Here is the link for the whole SSSS fairgrounds.... http://www.sandsportssupershow.com/expo/boothmap.htm
  14. Those days weren't that long ago if you stop and think about it. Bert (sanddunesaddict) and I were talking about this today. I remember when I really started going to Dumont (about 98-99), it was a pretty rare occasion that you'd see a "long travel" car out there. I remember almost running out of our camp to check one out as they'd cruise by. That was only less than 8 years ago. Take a look at this site that I ran across when I was doing some searching on Dumont one day. http://www.sandslingersclub.com/Sand9a.html Scroll through a couple pages of it and check out the cars. It almost seems like those pics were from the 70's or 80's... when, in fact, they were from 99-2001. It's crazy how time flies and how quickly the sport has changed. Now everyone and their mom has a long travel car. Hey, maybe with the recent change in economy, this season Dumont will be full of more standard travel beam cars.
  15. I think it is about 2.89 right now. I haven't got diesel in weeks because gas has been cheaper so I have been driving my Z71.
  16. Hey I just realized Larry & Nannette (Short Sand Cars) are gonna be right next to you guys this year. Pretty Cool. Hopefully those damn blinged out gold quads with the rap music blasting loud as hell won't be there this year!
  17. Poor, Tanner. You guys are cruel. He just wanted to get some farm machines together, and you guys have hijacked and crashed his thread. Effers.
  18. Exactly...but I promise I would have taken the money and deposited it directly into the DDR corporate account.
  19. I can't believe Aaron's thread about his day trip has turned into this. You guys are effen nuts. 6 pages!
  20. Actually I was gonna post up that I would take it all and run like hell, but I read everyone's posts first and that would make me look like an azzhole. j/k
  21. Dammit...that was my ATM card! You sonofab*tch! Give me back my money! j/k As tempting as it would be, I'd turn the card in inside the bank. As much as I need extra cash sometimes, I would hate to be the guy who's account was drained. It doesn't matter if he had $100,000 or $10 in his account, it's his cash not mine.
