  1. Yes it is only one building, building 12. Here is the link for the whole SSSS fairgrounds.... http://www.sandsportssupershow.com/expo/boothmap.htm
  2. Those days weren't that long ago if you stop and think about it. Bert (sanddunesaddict) and I were talking about this today. I remember when I really started going to Dumont (about 98-99), it was a pretty rare occasion that you'd see a "long travel" car out there. I remember almost running out of our camp to check one out as they'd cruise by. That was only less than 8 years ago. Take a look at this site that I ran across when I was doing some searching on Dumont one day. http://www.sandslingersclub.com/Sand9a.html Scroll through a couple pages of it and check out the cars. It almost seems like those pics were from the 70's or 80's... when, in fact, they were from 99-2001. It's crazy how time flies and how quickly the sport has changed. Now everyone and their mom has a long travel car. Hey, maybe with the recent change in economy, this season Dumont will be full of more standard travel beam cars.
  3. I think it is about 2.89 right now. I haven't got diesel in weeks because gas has been cheaper so I have been driving my Z71.
  4. Hey I just realized Larry & Nannette (Short Sand Cars) are gonna be right next to you guys this year. Pretty Cool. Hopefully those damn blinged out gold quads with the rap music blasting loud as hell won't be there this year!
  5. Poor, Tanner. You guys are cruel. He just wanted to get some farm machines together, and you guys have hijacked and crashed his thread. Effers.
  6. Exactly...but I promise I would have taken the money and deposited it directly into the DDR corporate account.
  7. I can't believe Aaron's thread about his day trip has turned into this. You guys are effen nuts. 6 pages!
  8. Actually I was gonna post up that I would take it all and run like hell, but I read everyone's posts first and that would make me look like an azzhole. j/k
  9. Dammit...that was my ATM card! You sonofab*tch! Give me back my money! j/k As tempting as it would be, I'd turn the card in inside the bank. As much as I need extra cash sometimes, I would hate to be the guy who's account was drained. It doesn't matter if he had $100,000 or $10 in his account, it's his cash not mine.
  10. How the hell could this be used in a fight for dumont? I posted about the dune "boom" a while back... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...ic=1586&hl= You never said anything about the "threat" back then?
  11. You know I will stop by. I told Lynnette I'd stop by anyways to introduce myself and thank her in person for all the helpful info she has been providing me for the site. See you guys there!
  12. Talk about a negative person! Geeeez I happen to love Vegas' weather.
  13. It's not. It's kinda like a thread about a trip to Coral Pink. You of all people know how that goes!
  14. Are you kidding me? Have you BEEN in Vegas in the winter? It gets into the 30's! whoa
  15. I was wondering when the heck it was gonna cool down. The 10 day forecast for Shoshone is finally showing the highs to be in the 90's next week. 10 day Forecast So hopefully by Season Kickoff it will be pretty nice out. Man, I can't wait to finally dune my car in NICE weather. Every single time I have had it out it has been hot as hell. Even it's madien voyage on the cleanup weekend- it was over 100 degrees outside! Summer...I'm over it! I am ready for some jacket weather.
  16. sorry, but I had to get MY proof-reading in.

  18. I don't care how hard that is. That was the gayest, stupidest thing I have ever seen. Thanks Tim!
  19. Google image search for "corporate" http://images.google.com/images?q=corporat...a=N&ndsp=20
  20. Here is the latest sent to me from the BLM as of 4:30 today... Dumont Sand Dunes Information October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 Weekly passes for Dumont Dunes will be sold for $20 from October 1, until BLM meets with the new Recreation Advisory Council. This council should meet in early October. At that meeting BLM will present the TRT recommended fee plan for 2007. BLM will receive advice from the council then may adjust the fees. After the fee adjustment, BLM will print annual passes and make them available for purchase. This is anticipated to happen in November 2007. The TRT recommended prices are: $30 for a weekly pass with holiday black out dates $90 for an annual pass with holiday black out dates $10 for a ONE holiday add-on for a weekly or annual pass $30 for a whole year holiday add-on for an annual pass The holidays are Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, President’s Day and Easter. (For 2007, the Halloween holiday will have passes prior to the fee adjustment, but will be counted as a holiday in future years.) Since the annual passes will not be available at the beginning of the year, BLM will allow a dollar for dollar off-set for weekly passes purchased prior to the availability of the annual pass. For example, turn in 2 weekly passes and get $40 off the annual pass. There are limits on this offset: one may turn in only one weekly pass per week and proof of purchase of the weekly pass by the annual pass buyer, proof of purchase would be shown by return of the pass and showing the receipt with a name or credit card number. Dumont Dunes IMPORTANT PASS INFORMATION BLM IS FAZING OUT SELLING PASSES AT DUMONT DUNES. PLEASE BUY YOUR PASS OFF-SITE. Show your support of the local gateway communities! Then they will support you and your recreation at Dumont Dunes! THE BLM WEBPAGE WILL HAVE THE MOST RECENT VENDORS OR CALL BLM AT 760-252-6000. BLM is in the process of signing the contracts with cooperating pass vendors. No contracts are finalized right now. We anticipate that Valero in Baker will be selling passes. They will also place reminders to duners to buy the passes on their highway signs. During the faze out, BLM will sell passes onsite by credit card only. So if you do not stop on the way in, please make sure you have a credit card with you. Please pass this information on!
  21. "If you are not a resident of California and your OHV is not registered in your home state, you are required to have a California "Nonresident" OHV permit to legally operate your vehicle." Yes, technically you are still required to have out of state OHV stickers as well. Those are completely separate from the entrance fees.
