  2. Yep, we don't call him the resident a$$hole for nothing!
  3. Some of you already know this, but I have added some more helpful info about Dumont to the site. There is now a page for Dumont maps. It contains maps of Dumont, GPS coordinates of Dumont landmarks, aerial images, plus a Google interactive street name and satelite image map of the area! You can zoon in to certain areas of the dunes just like Google Earth. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/maps.html Also added was a page for all the popular spots of Dumont containing lots of clickable pics. This page gives a brief description of all the landmarks and popular spots out there. It is mostly helpful for the newbies. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/popular_spots.html These links are accessible from the Dumont Info page or homepage. Once we get some more things in order, we might add a dropdown style menu bar at the top of the forum so all links are accessible from the forum.

  7. Well you change your quad parts more than some people change underwear so who knows?! I didn't know if the recent motor work would have made it less ride-able through the dunes and more of just a hill shooter. Whatever you say dude. As long you you don't sell out completely from duning! :porn: j/k wait...with me on it? Were we riding doubles? :angry2: j/k I know what you meant.
  8. Well it looks better than the Honda, but come on! :porn: All these other farm machine companies are like 3 years behind Yamaha's farm division.

I went in to the admin panel and gave him that many posts so he'd have his 5 little :rider: guys under his name and so he wouldn't have to keep post whoring :porn: . I went a lil over board with it, but it gets the point across.

  17. There should be some pretty fast, badass cars out there this weekend. There is a test-n-tune tonight, but I'm gonna try and make it out for Saturday. SATURDAY! SpeedTV's PINKS All Out at The Strip Thursday, September 6, 2007 The hottest show on television - SpeedTV's PINKS All Out Las Vegas - will invade The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday, Sept. 8. A burnout contest -- billed as the largest-ever in the history of LVMS -- has been added. The entry allotment recently was increased to 425 cars to accommodate the unprecedented demand. "The buzz continues to build for this incredible show," said Chris Blair, LVMS' vice president of racing operations. "We've received a unique mix of entries from across the U.S. and many more racers are hoping to earn a place in the show. As a result of this huge demand, PINKS All Out host Rich Christensen and the management of SpeedTV agreed to allow us to add an additional 25 positions to the field." This open-competition event will feature the fastest cars in a heads-up (first car to the finish line wins), $10,000-to-win shootout (with a total purse of $18,000). The event, which is not a typical PINKS "race-for-titles" competition, is open to any full-bodied "door car" (no dragsters, Altereds, roadsters, etc.). Cars must run 12.99 sec. or quicker in order to be able to register. PLEASE NOTE: Entrant's car and its safety equipment will undergo an extensive technical inspection. Tech inspectors from the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), LVMS and PSCA will be scrutinize each vehicle. Entrant's car and its equipment must meet the minimum safety guidelines as established by the NHRA. The Strip at LVMS is an NHRA Member Track and the NHRA rulebook will be followed without exceptions Anyone who has any questions regarding the legality of their car and/or safety equipment should contact the NHRA Tech Dept. at (800) 859-9111. All participants will receive two qualifying runs on Saturday, Sept. 8. Following qualifying, PINKS host Rich Christensen and his crew will select 16 racers to compete in the $10,000-to-win, heads-up shootout. The selection of cars is at the sole discretion of the PINKS production staff. The first-round winners will receive $1,000 from a total posted purse of $18,000 (in addition to prizes from PINKS sponsors). Spectator tickets are now on sale and may be purchased at www.LVMS.com and http://www.ticketmaster.com/. For more information, please call The Strip's office at (702) 632-8213, or visit http://www.lvms.com/ and www.speedtv.com/pinks. For more information on the PSCA, please visit http://www.pscaracing.com/.
  18. I think I will still get 1 or 2 trips in month, even if I can't afford to haul EVERYTHING out. I started a very similar topic not too long ago. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=5185
  19. Wish I could make it, Bob. Good luck with the shakedown.
  20. Some guy from GD.com bought it off him.
  21. Actually you are wrong, Bob. Jim, sand~snake, was the actual "owner" of the balloon. So there.
