    I e-mailed the BLM a few days ago regarding the entrance road and river crossing and got some info back! Hopefully they stick to their word. I sure hope they can get more material and then put the hardening agent on it before dune season. I'll be curious to see the "excellent condition" on Saturday. Hopefully it's much better than last trip.

    Go with a Geo Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Sanddunesaddict bought one recently and it does great out there! It goes all over the place. Just put it in 4 Low and it has planty of power to get around just fine. It's a blast. The Trackers have more power than the Samurais as well. They are also a little easier to come by too. Look at all it's uses too....

    I love mine. The trans guy here at work doesn't even get that many of them in here for repairs. I would guess most guys just replace them because they don't know how to work on them. They are far more complex than an ol 4L80E.
