Good times. This weekend was great. The weather was awesome too, except for Sat evening it got windy as hell. Sunday...it couldn't get any better! JoeDuner and I stayed until about 3PM just chillen. Bert and I took his new Dune Tracker (Geo Tracker ) out and it did great! That thing is a blast. I've GOT to get one. lol The dunes were oh so sweet and smooth. They were slick as hell which made for some great duning. Hardy any tracks were out there. I got a bunch more seat time in my new car and got an even better feeling for it over the weekend. I love that car. What a blast. There were LOTS of razors which made for some exciting transitions over some dunes. :ahhhhh: I saw Terry (ynot) get some pretty good air off a couple dunes while I was following him. I jumped a razor pretty damn good too at one point. Joe was behind me and saw it. We got to meet up with limodriver and SVT900 for some fun rides this morning. It was kinda hard to see as everything was kinda white-washed around 11 AM, but I did my best to lead and it was still some good times. Some observations... -small camps with good frineds are best -off weekends are best -Dune Trackers rock -chriss1223 makes ynot a lil uncomfortable "Terry, can I sit on your lap?" :mc_smiley: -chris1223 all weekend, "COKE SPOON!!!" -crazy wind at Dumont makes for the best duning ever -Vegas Style's kite makes for some fun in camp -Vegas Style wants to try and parachute off comp with his kite -FoxySandChick knows how to get into a car without kicking the crap out of everything Thank you Kristin. -ynot's trans had trouble downshifting at the end of the trip :ahhhhh: -The movie Borat will make Joe Duner get up and leave your toyhauler "I'll be right back"........"Hey WTF? Is Joe comin back? " That movie was effed up. -RacerX uses his farm equipment (Polaris Ranger) how it was intended to be used! He dumped a full load of firewood out by the fire with the tilt bed "Hey, thats badass! Now THATS how farm equipment SHOULD be used" -"Hey check it out...that guy has 5th gear a$$ crack going up comp....wait....that's ISBB!!" -THIS was my last Dumont trip of the season, not the trip 2 weeks ago. Good times, guys.

Yep...what a POS road now. It would have been better to just leave it alone. Tyler, you are missing the point. Many of us were ok with the road before. BUT, now it is worse and several THOUSAND dollars later we are left with a road worse than what it was before. If they were gonna do this to be an improvement, they should have done it right. WTF!!!??? Not to sound too much like 1320 , but I hope there are plans for much more cage than that sandrail frame on top. All that extra weight is gonna definitley call for more protection in case of a rollover. Bob, why on earth would you hack up your rail to do that?

He's out right now slaving away at adding on to his Sami rollcage so he doesn't get any more chit from everyone.

Depends on the motor/ trans setup, but for the most part they are for the dunes instead of the hill. They handle awesome!

Well, it's good that you guys have cleared everything up and are now "supposedly" putting the funds to use in a good way, but I still think charging the fee for posting a classified ad in the forum is bs. That's part of the forum and should never cost anything to the members in my eyes.

That or wait more than a half day for responses! I'll offer this.... I have an 02 Grizzly 660 and love it! The new ones are now 700's so get the new 700 Grizzly and be done with it. Duniemonkie even rides the hell out of that big beast and she loves it as well. A KFX 700 is also a good option to think about too.

I'll take some pics of the progress this weekend and post them up when I get back.
