  1. Good thing that truck probably wouldn't fit in most garages in homes today. It might light the house on fire.
  2. Seems like there was some cool stuff there. Too bad I couldn't check it out. Crowdog put together some nice pics and page from the show. http://www.duneguide.com/TripReport-ORBA_Supershow_2007.htm AG sandcars Alumicraft DeJong and the list goes on. farm equipment gone wild My head starts spiinning lokoing at these OMF's... big trucks.. the "other stuff" is pretty cool to look at too. Check out the link above.
  3. No thanks, that road beats the crap out of your stuff. Especially if it has rained any time previous.

  5. That's very cool, Vicki! Hopefully that will help spread the word about the annual Dumont cleanups put on by FoDD and it will continue to grow showing the positive side of Dumont to certain groups that see it in a different light.
  6. Thanks Jon. I couldn't agree more.

mmm ribs. Yep me likey those too. Just yesterday duniemonkie and I were grillin up some grub on the back patio sippin on G&T's enjoying this way beautiful weather we've had latley. Ahhh yes...summer is comin!! B) I don't really have any secrets other than throw a bunch of good grub all together and grill it all! Some grilled corn on the cob, grilled chicken, and peppers and onions. That fuggin right. :argue:
  9. Hey Paul, I have 50 amp service on my Sandpiper. It has 2 AC units. The main (or rear) unit has the thermostat controls on teh wall and it is ducted, the front ac unit has the controls right on the unit itself. I also have the 5500 Onan and it does just fine with both ac's running together. I ran both of them on cleanup weekend and it got nice and cold in there.
  10. I marked it on my calender, Dave. I'd like to make it, but I'll have to see if funds permit.
  11. oh yeah...that's right :argue: Delo is what I use
  12. TWO TICKETS TO THE GUNNNN SHOWWWWWWW!!!!
  13. ya like those directions? I have never taken that route. That seems like quite a long-cut. Once in Hurricane, take the 59 instead of going up to the 89.
  14. I personally just use the 15W40 Rotella (non synthetic) oil. I think it's Rotella. Whatever our quick lube has is what I use.
  15. Damn Bob. I'm very sorry to hear that. I would like to get another trip in before the end of the season too. I think maybe the weekend after Easter is when I might be going back out though. Hopefully it won't be too hot. Then again, I don't think it could be any hotter than cleanup weekend and THAT was still a blast!
  16. Awesome Tim! You're gonna have a blast building it and even more fun when it's finished! Congrats
  17. yeah uh...you take the 15 to the 9er, then to the 9th exit past the 15th street on your left but only if your a righty, then uh...turn that way, then go all the way down past the street with pavement on it Like wingnut said though, they are overhauling the dunes so don't go there.
  18. That IS the way I was talking about. You take the 15 to the9, then the 9 to the 59, and then the 59 turns into the 389. (The turnoff from 15 to the 9 is past St George.) You sure you know how to get there, Mark?
  19. correction. I forgot the road turns into dirt a bit before the 90 degree left turn, then it turns back into pavement a litttle ways before it ends on the map show
  20. Mark you are talking about the road coming from the other direction. I think they are talking about the Cane Beds road which is the shortcut off the 389. It is paved for a few miles from the 389, but there are several miles of it that can get pretty rough or rutted. It allows you to bypass Fredonia and Kanab and cuts off about 35-45 minutes, but I choose not to take my 30 thousand dollar toyhauler down that pos road. No thanks. But I still don't know what this talk of Coral Pink is. I think it is a myth. Here's a map that shows the paved and non-paved parts... The red part is non-paved, the blue is paved.
